Mary Harrington, author of Feminism Against Progress, joins us to discuss her journey to becoming a reactionary feminist, how embracing traditional feminine values in the face of unchecked "progress" is both liberating and essential for women, and how progressive feminism is a detriment to modern society, leading us towards a dystopian future wherein women are commodified.

It's exceptionally pathetic and concerning that people are now so very concerned with "I".
Until you have cared for another human- especiallyyour own child, you have no idea about life.

Back when my daughter was a baby (late 90's) I joined an online group of moms with babies the same age. I was one of the very few conservatives, most of them were varying degrees of liberal/progressive. One of the more liberal moms that I was pretty good friends with, was telling the story of how when she was pregnant she decided that once her baby was born she was going to be a stay-at-home mom, and she was shocked - SHOCKED I tell you! - that her feminist friends all attacked her for it. I felt bad for her because she really was upset, but at the same time it gave me a good chuckle because, duh. Feminists are all about Girl Power! and Choice! and Freedom! right up until a woman chooses something that goes against their ideology and then it's all HOW VERY DARE YOU. 😅

Feminism itself from the start was Radical. This idea of Radical Feminism is hilarious if not willful ignorant of it's origins.

    • @zenden6564
      @zenden6564 Рік тому

Radical is then a relative thing. In the 1960's and 1970's the then Feminist position was seen as radical and to motivate their young campus base leaned into the "radical" label as proof of their rebelliousness. Back in the day the 'radicalness' assured you of impoliteness, mockery and arrogance in any discourse. Today's position with today's radical feminist LGBTQI+ ideology wave breaks on the shore of wokeness ...
A completely different message from the 1960/70's but with the same impoliteness, mockery and arrogance.
What to make of it all?

Lefty loyalty is a relatively new thing. You'll notice she uses the term liberal. That was a different thing for us gen Xers. It became something...cultish. Mankind will always have religion, whether it's based on God or politics or whatever. 90s Liberals could coexist with God. 2010s Leftists cast him out and are left shrieking and shaking their fist at reality. Literally going insane.

Mary descibes a number of personal events which lifted the scales from her eyes.
Says the "I" that struggled for years coming out of radical feminism is metaphysical.
Said she had a powerful metaphysical experience which led her to understand how she can be who is she.
Friends. That's the proverbial road to Damascus moment.
Remember. Paul was no friend to Christians when Paul had his Damascus moment. Paul then chose to be born again of water and Spirit.
Mary has yet to be made aware of one's need to be born again of water and Spirit per John 3: v5 etc.
Or Mary has been made aware of one's need to be born again of water and Spirit ... but she may be refusing to be obedient.
Obedience to Lord Jesus is only possible because free will exists.
For those with ears to hear:
Go to a man of God who knows the difference between titles baptism and baptism in the title-name-title of Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace and understanding of Lord Jesus upon those who are looking for God. And upon those who are wondering their next step of faith. amen

Very hard when you are plunked into the kool aid before school even starts .Because of my DNA i cannot say much but as group transsexuals can see much of the battle, anyone with a thinking brain can just more obvious when you have experienced aspects being seen as male/female.

Feminism is the curse spoken of in the Book of BRASHYT/Genesis, where the woman wants her husband's position. // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2).
