However, I was just listening to a song which could not be more appropriate for what the plant is living right now, and I'm sure you'll all agree - "Till the Storm Passes By". I just had my first piece of Tres Leches cake around this passed Christmas. It was made by a friend and his Mother. She is Native Hispanic, so could the real Authentic Mexican. The reason I say this is he wants me to come over and cook with them! The cake was so delicious!! She even uses raw sugar cane and grates it! The cake was also beautiful!

If the spice expired within the past few months, just buzz it in a coffee grinder. I have 3: 1 Starbuck's brand for coffee grounds. 1 Braun for sweet spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. 1 for savoury spices like dried garlic, basil, oregano, dried onions, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme and cilantro. Toldja! Foodie here, lol! 🤗

Some people sing for fun/hobbies, some whittle, knit, play cards or Bingo, garden flowers or veg/herbs, restore Classic Cars. Mine? Hard foodie since growing up. Mom was raised in Tachekawa, Japan, dad in Houston. Lots of fish/seafood, game (deer/elk). Now 60. A couple of thoughts? Do the chicken strips one or 2 at a time. Why? That old adage of adding too many items at a time reducing the oil temp. Even when the meat is at room temp, from 78° to 325° is huge. Also, when you put all the chicken pieces into the flour, when they sit in the egg mixture, a fair amount of the flour just comes off of each piece. Use a flat glass baking pan for each step. Lends toward more thorough coverage of each piece. Can also be done on a cookie sheet or two in the oven, thereby reducing the oil/fat, and you can double or triple the WEScipe for leftovers on a chicken salad, re-warmed with some corn on the cob, a big salad, a baked/mash potato dish, chicken tacos/salad, sandwiches, etc. Make a mess, make it a big one, and have left-overs for another meal or two? Saves time, electricity and clean-up! Feeding a family of hungry boys, you and your wife, why not triple the batch? Just like you do w the pizza dough, ditto every other meal? Baking oven-fried chicken also removes the question of what to do w all that used oil, clean-up, etc. Flour. Eggs. Panko. Might also want to add CORNMEAL to either the Panko or flour, for extra crunch? Yummy! Love, hugs, prayers to all, from your eternal sister in Christ somewhere near Seattle and around the World. She actually went to Trevecca for 1 semester until she figured out it was way too much for a small town girl. She had a few classes with Ben Speer. I’ve strayed & been through a lot in life. But my Nazarene foundation is down deep inside.
