I'm going Wanderer just because Natlan is coming soon and flight is definitely going to help with exploration, especially since Teyvat's got a track record of big mountainous areas
I wouldn't reason my pull off of that. They said that Natlan will be their biggest map yet so they're planning to introduce a new feature that will make traversing across long distances easier.

Wouldnt recommend using up 75-90 pulls to climb mountains. Theres gonna be better methods like in sumeru. If u wanna pull him because u like him then do it 10000% thats the only reason u need. But to say its for climbing mountains isnt the best reasoning
These 2 are the characters I used very often. Wanderer automatic for exploration and Baizhu for general healer use. Both are good
Sometimes, I (Ryft) feel that they are underrated from my experience with them.
Baizuh C2 is great. Dang near makes you invincible while auto applying Dendro for bloom and aggravate triggers.
Yes! C2 also makes it that the 4pc deepwood effect has 100% uptime even if you’re just standing around with Miko doing nothing but her turrets attacking 😂 (also heals you underwater to boot)

I'm going for C1 Wanderer (it should only take me a 10 pull since I'm at 71 pity and guaranteed). If 4 stars don't suck I'll go for C1 Baizhu too.

Of the two I use Baizhu more, as in pretty much daily. Wanderer takes a back seat to Xiao in most cases although I've yet to test him since I raised C6 Faruzan. Baizhu is on my current comfort team with Alhaitham, Miko & Kazuha breezing through commissions, boss & domain farming & a bi-weekly trip to the Abyss.
True. Baizhu is flexible AF. In that team you mentioned, you can replace Alhiatham with Raiden (and possibly Clorinde also) and get a solid Aggravate team. While you can replace Miko/Kazuha with Nilou/Yelan to get a super strong superbloom team. He’s just that amazing.
I have c6 faru and my wanderer became my comfort character. Just E spam click. There’s no need for ER and timing anything. Overworld flying is also very convenient.
Wanderer probably does less damage but he’s definitely easier because auto aim so I’m torn I use both of them a lot and want constellations

Baizhu is my favorite character in the game. i personally love his persona as the chinese medicine sage-type, and he’s made the game so easy… like it’s very hard to die with him on my teams. and he can pretty much work on any team too… so as long as his voice and personality don’t annoy you i think go for him

I liked his design, I'm kinda bummed I didn't like using him in the trials though. I kinda missed sumeru and dendro's introduction though so that could be part of my disappointment. Maybe I'll figure out his play style by the time his next rerun comes around
I was able to get these guys when they first came out very happy about those pulls 🎉
He wouldve been good if he wasn't between patches of the most hyped characters. He always reruns at the worst times. I wouldve pulled him for my Nilou bloom team but I'm already doing fine with yaoyao. If there's a time where its a consistent patch of chars i don't need except baizhu then def. But that will be a long time from 💀

honestly take wanderer, is the character made in such a way that every boss is mega easy, even if you go solo, if Wanderer plays a lot he will have good dps without a team, I prefer artifacts not C6.
Baizhu is pretty nice especially with furina if you dont have xianyun -his shield can be crazy good for neuvillete so neuvillete with furina ,baizhu and maybe raiden or kuki is an amazing team
I'm gonna go for wanderers weapon + hopefully c3 or more if I have pulls left over, then I'll try and c6 him whenever a sumeru cronicled wish comes out.

I have both. Baizhu he does his job very well and never left my team.
I was originally set on pulling for Baizhu, but thanks to you guys I realized that I don't technically need him. I have Yao Yao built and Kokomi for an off-field healer, and I already have Xianyun and Jean for Furina Teams. I don't have Nilou... and I may never. I'm stacked with healers and dendro already, so, I think that makes me skip him.
I would add that Wanderer is a "skip" too because Furina is coming up in 4.7 and that's who I would pull for. I've also seen leaks for Alhaitham coming in 4.7 - he's a top-tier DPS and better than Wanderer. Similarly, I'm positive Clorinde is going to power-creep Raiden, so I'd wait for her too.
One thing this video didn't mention, baizhu is also a good hyperbloom driver, I use him with double hydro kuki and it's a great hyperbloom team
So I think heizou is plenty fun and for that reason I’m going to spam one of these banners for more faruzan constellations, but I am unfortunately close to pity so which of these two would be better to use… some time in the future. Wanderer looks like super fun to use but I have more than enough dps units. I always welcome another healer as I prefer it to shielding, also for overworld exploration I generally enjoy being topped off at all times, however I already have yaoyao who fills that Dendro healer niche quite well. Any suggestions welcome
Good luck to you on getting those Faruzan cons! Personally, I (Ryft) think Baizhu is more of a luxury unit and actually has higher usage rates than Wanderer mainly because he is a support. In short, he will make the combat seem even more effortless because he is so good at what he does.
Wanderer is not bad either, but just takes a little more investment than others to reach a competitive level of damage. Besides, you sound very invested in Heizou, and he can fill Wanderer's shoes quite well in fact.

i wasnt even planning on pulling for anyone since i already had c1 baizhu and saving for furina but i did a random 10 pull today, won the 50/50 and got wanderer 😭i was so confused and i hadn't pre-farmed for him at all n now hes sitting on level 40 🙏🏾i did level up his talents to lvl 2 and boosted his CRIT rate and hes actually doing better than most of my lvl 40s so i cant complain lol
I'm saving for wanderer now and I hope he will come early and without losing 50/50 (guys I know this is impossible but wish me luck😭)

I didn't get him back then, impatiently waited 8 months and I'm really glad he's back. I usually planned on going for Kazuha but as soon as i found out He will have a rerun in 4.6 i decided to skip Kazuha. So yeah, i am not guaranteed either and I've got 90 and pity 42. So I'm really hopeful. But good luck pulling

something that you might wanna mention is furina. baizhu and furina works really well. Yao yao heals well but takes alot of field time with ult to get the healing furina needs. Baizhu fixes that. Since furina needs consistent team wide healing and yao doesnt have that. Besides that I agree. Thats why im pulling baizhu. Something you might wanna mention. besides that great video.
Yes, he's probably the best healer for her since he heals small bits to get stacks quickly. There are plenty of healers that work well with her and the best team is probably Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu, and another support, but we'll make sure to keep that in mind next time

Baizhu Neuvillette Furina Kazuha is a great team :) I also use him on my Alhaitham Furina Kuki quickbloom team. He is much more than a Nilou teammate.

I'm in need of an anemo or pyro dps but since I won't be able to get Arle, is Wanderer worth getting? I already have Cyno, Baizhu, Furina and Nahida for my first team which pretty much deals with all elements except Cryo and on some instances, Electro. I'm in need of a team that mainly consists pyro and anemo characters but idk if Wanderer is worth it.
Currently, I have Xianyun in which I'm planning to use Dehya as DPS along with Faruzan and Bennett since they can be enough BUT idk if choosing Wanderer over them would be a better idea..
TLDR: Should I start focusing on getting and building Wanderer instead of a Xianyun Dehya team comp?
My opinion (Ryft) is that you wait for Natlan.
Wanderer is a great character, but from my experience, he takes incredibly high investment to comfortably and consistently clear Abyss. Also, Anemo has great versatility for breaking shields, but it is usually never the best option (there is always a better element for shredding a particular shield; Anemo is just more universal).
Electro and Cryo shields' bane is in most cases Pyro, so waiting to pick up a new Pyro character is what I would suggest, and with Natlan coming around the corner, there's bound to be several fantastic options for you to invest in then.

Baizhu since I don’t have Zhongli and Barbara is my main healer. Either with Arlecchino or Nuevillette. Or maybe I’ll just level up Yaoyao 🤔

Okay. I have both. And they’re both really good. However if you HAD to pick someone from this banner, I’d HIGHLY recommend Baizhu. I got him on his initial release alongside his weapon. And he’s been EXTREMELY slept on. Easy to build, not hard to use. And he works really well with basically any team that includes Furina. But with that said, is he a character I’d charge my bank account for? No. If you need a different healer, he’s oneof the (if not THE) best healers in the game. But with how close we are to Natlan now and Clorinde and Sigewinne coming out soon. It would probably be wise to either skip him, or skip them.

I’m playing on a catalyst only account, for this reason I think I have to go for baizhu. Just because I’ll never be able to use Yaoyao and there arnt any 4* Dendro characters I can use but there are 4* Anemo
Well, regarding Scara, if u can't C6 him just get him C0, if u like his style. For me I'm forced to pull for Baizhu since I'm going for R5 wanderer weapon, I already have him C6, amazing character.

Started the game during Neuvillette banner a couple months ago. Lucky enough I got Neuvillette and arlencchino (with weapon) ……will wondered be a good option to add to the team?
Wanderer is another DPS unit, and you already have the 2 best DPS units in the game. I (Ryft) would suggest looking into some supportive characters like Furina, Yelan, Kazuha, Nahida, etc.

Furina is probably the best bet. Very good ideas for the next three pulls for your account. Furina will buff lots of teams, Zhongli can protect Neuv if he is c0, and Yelan is going to make Arle feel a lot more smooth. Looks like you got it all figured out😁

You seem to want Wanderer more than Furina, so he might just be the better pull for you because what's important is to pull who you want. If you skip Wanderer and regret it, you know you want him.

Both are great pulls. In my personal opinion (Ryft), I’d say that Nahida has more long-term value for multiple teams, but Zhongli is the best at what he does with a big margin at that.
Neuvillette at C0 gets along great with Zhongli, but if you do have other shielders like Layla, Diona, or even Thoma, you can get away with just using them.

Lootbar tops up through Genshin, and the way they are able to reduce prices has to do with global exchange rates to cancel out hidden taxes.
(Like buying Welkin for $5, except you're Canadian; Canadian Welkin is like $7 normally)
i have neuvi, kazuha, kuki, and collei, should i pull for baizhu to replace collei? and i have yaoyao also
If you are talking about Baizhu replacing Collei in that 4-person team, then yeah, that's not a bad idea. But you do have Yaoyao who can be used in a lot of the same placements as Baizhu, so if you have another shielder for your Neuvillette like Beidou, for example, then I'd (Ryft) recommend skipping Baizhu.
That is simply what I'd do and is my personal opinion. Baizhu is an amazing and great value character, but Yaoyao's existence is what keeps me away from him personally.
Its worth to try to pull wanderer as my first 5 stars or is better to get baizhu?
Baizhu is in most cases the better pull mainly just because he is a support unit, whereas Wanderer is a DPS.
But since you are a newer player, a DPS is going to be a better "first pull" to greatly increase your damage ceiling in the first place. Once you have that DPS you want most, then you can focus on building up supports around that DPS character.

I am just wondering, what you told me so far feels like trying to convince others not to get them...
There are 2 main reasons for any to pick a character,: practicality which means a character someone needs, secondly based on player taste either on play style or simply out of liking a character.
Practicality, since I don't have Baizhu yet, I will speak of the character I already have which is the wanderer, he is one of the best if not the top best in exploration in general at the very least in my opinion, I do have Xaio as well also he does very good dps, but Xaio isn't as flexible as The wanderer, I mean that based on movements while in combat, and also the wanderer in the range is better, Xaio needs mobs to surround him, which makes him have to move to ranged enemies.
The main weakness of The Wanderer is that he needs a shield on him, but Xaio needs both a healer and a shield for better performance without interruptions, The wanderer dps is decent and very close to Xaio if geared well, I mained Xaio since he got released for long and he is great for certain, but the wanderer is also great and really fun to play with too.
Also, I am no fan of even commenting in general, but people have their own needs and tastes, each may have his unique playstyle as well, so please don't try to convince others based on your playstyle and preferences, in the end, they the ones will play and not you, no one lives the life of another.
Same I have both Wanderer and Xiao and tbh Xiao hits a little harder but as you said Wanderer is really convenient because he relies on E rather than Q. That's why I'll c6 him someday 😁
Also his play style is unique and fun and can reach flying enemies so that's a plus hehe
but i like wandere because his cute n i don't care games create for us to hv fun ..so ill pull him for sure ..
Is Baizhu worth it to upgrade from layla in a teamcomp like Neuvillette, Furina, Raiden, Layla? C0 Neuvi
I would replace Raiden with Baizhu instead. Baizhu's shields aren't going to be extremely effective in protecting you from getting hit out of your charged attack. Layla will still be there to freeze and shield well. Baizhu will help with healing and stacks for Furina. Also, Furina can stay on her damage mode if you have Baizhu. TLDR, I would go for Baizhu and do Neuv, Furina, Layla, Baizhu
I think your take on Baizhu C2 is a little-bit false or short sighted. It is not a Damage increase (for him alone). It applies Dendro to the current enemy and it will be triggered by your active character who do not need to be Baizhu. I like his heals for Furina Teams more than Jean. I need to build Charlotte though, maybe she is also viable and an alternative for Jean.
Hi, I started playing from 3 months. I got Arlecchino 1week back. Arlecchino and Mona are my 5* characters. I am f2p player and I can only farm for 1 of them. Which one should I go for? Or Should I wait for better ones?

I pulled Wanderer as a F2P because I like him and his gameplay is fun. Even if I never will have him at C6, I just wanted him and he's amazing. He might not hit the numbers my Kazuha can hit but it doesn't matter.

Zhongli will most likely come around the beginning of Natlan (~5.0-5.2)
I already have both of them, so I'll likely just skip wishing on their banners... I get that a lot of people are going to still wish on them, especially those who want to get their constellations, but they just aren't actually worth it for me...

I won scarmoch with just 5 pulls and i had just gotten my guaranteed so i won the 50/50 and didnt need to spend 90 primos lol put in consideration after i got my garantee for archino i hadnt pull any weapon nor the event character im too lucky

We believe so. He's a good and fun pull. He's extremely fun to play with and has fun teams with many different supports. His skill allows him to fly for a short period of time which is nice for exploration and general movement in and out of combat. Both Ryft and I don't regret our Wanderers. Hope this helps!

Just because he is dendro and a healer doesnt equate to being a 5* yaoyao. They are different. Its not like sucrose to venti, xq to yelan, and fischl to yae.
He heals in small bits, much like Yao Yao, and they are both fitting the same role. It's not exact match, but for instance, Xingqiu is better at hydro application than Yelan so they aren't the same. Sucrose does not have a great pulling mechanic like Venti. Fischl only has one turret off-field and does not do as much damage as Yae. They are all different, but we can broadly categorize them as 4* and 5* versions. Also, Yao Yao was mentioned so that ppl can know that they can just use her instead of Baizhu
@genshininteract baizu heals almost a whole HP bar in one snap for the entire team, what small bits are you even saying? And he has a shield that buffs all dendro reactions of the the character onfield which you didnt mention. Both of them have nothing in similar except being a healer. He also is pure off field unlike her. And im not even saying she's bad, she's good in her own way in fact. I use them both. My whole point is, describe them correctly.
Now, regarding the others, sometimes you gotta accept comments instead of being too defensive.
-Sucrose/venti skill, cc grouping/knock up, burst is cc grouping
-fischl/yae skill, turret(s), burst is damage and skill refresh
-xq/yelan burst is the same
The 5* above being slightly different(if not better) than their 4* counterparts.

Wanderer doesn't seem like a good pull rn. If you don't have a lot of Dendro like Nahida and Nilou for a great bloom team, Baizhu also seems like a skip. If you want to buff your Xiao more though, Xianyun would be the next 5-star to go for, but that's heavy investment into only one team. It never hurts to save. Hope this helps

Baizhu has been on the back burner for awhile for me, but the more I think about it the less I actually want him because my yaoyao gets the job done. I’ll wait to see the 4* but will most likely skip.
He’s more versatile but I do agree a c6 Yao Yao is amazing and imo has better dendro application
These videos are really good. I think the audio quality could use some work (it's a bit low and flat), but the editing is good and I love the conversational format. I got Baizhu during his first banner and, honestly I didn't use him much until Furina. He's my go-to healer when she's on the team because he can get her to max pretty fast as his "E" is team wide unlike many other healers who have it on their "Q". Having said that though, if you have the fates to spend on Baizhu, I'd recommend spending them on Furina cons instead. If you can get to C2, any healer works. Baizhu is comfort.
If my Yao yao is c6 and built, is baizhu still worth for me
Personally yep. I had a fully invested C6 Yaoyao before getting Baizhu and after I got him, I never want to go back to using Yaoyao again. While they both serve a healer role, Baizhu does it so much better. He’s not only a healer but also a shielder and a buffer all in one package. His team wide healing is also tied to his skill and not his burst. He also doesn’t eat up precious field time away from your DPS which Furina teams greatly benefit from. Lastly his gameplay style is much MUCH smoother than Yaoyao (which I definitely cannot emphasize enough). While with Yaoyao you not only need to keep track of your party’s HP (since her off field healing is trash) but also need to run around wasting time after pressing her Q as a panic healing button. Meanwhile Baizhu just naturally keeps your party topped as his skill and burst heal a reasonably good amount to both on and off field characters while taking next to no field time at all. Once you get used to Baizhu, you’ll realize how awful and clunky it is to play Yaoyao. I can’t stand using her whenever I try to go back 😂

The thing is you need to build Yaoyao with crit stat just to proc fav lance for energy. Her healing is nice but Yuegui has set priorities, if your HP is above 70% then it will attck enemies instead of healing you, you also need her onfield while on burst jumping and running to proc more heals. While on the other hand Baizhu just a press and live type of a unit. Just press E. Skill youre entire party will be healed, Press his burst and again you will be healed plus a minor shielding for you. Also Baizhu is the main partner for Furina if you have her, these two is inseparable and their skill cd's is kind of in sync with each other.

She’s ok if looked at in a vacuum but when compared to Baizhu, she just falls off as she’s just functionally worse for the most part (needs to be on field to party heal, no buffing/defensive utility). She’s a 4 star for a reason and after Furina’s release, the gap between them became even bigger. There’s just no contest at all this point - Baizhu completely runs over Yaoyao.

If you have Yaoyao, Baizhu is just an upgrade to what she can already do for you.
If you have any Pyro DPS already, Arlecchino is just an upgrade.
If you don't need either of those, then saving might be your best option.

xiao definitely falls behind wanderer. xiao without premium team sucks at getting energy since he is burst reliant , also his damage sucks and his teams are very very limited.wanderer has lots of team variations, he isn't burst reliant, and he is the best for exploration. even when both are using their most premium teams the damage is very close (yes i also have both of them)

I am not really understand hype around Furina, because her best teams are with Neuvilettte, Alhaitham, Xiao, Hu Tao, Cyno, which is true, but this characters can always have another support option which will work well, but wouldnt require a healer. Neuvilette is basically can run any Hyperbloom team or Burgeon and will be perfectly fine, Alhaitham with Yelan, Kuki, Fischl or Nahida works well, Xiao have Bennett, Xianyun, Faruzan and Cyno have Yelan\Xingxiu, Nahida\Baizhu, Zhongli. She will ofcourse buff certain teams, but it is not like they were performing bad without her. Moreover with Baizhu. The most dissapointing is his CD burst which is 20 sec and for me is huge downside, because i can run Nahida instead and will have proccing Prototype Amber talent by 50% more than him, if i decide to roll for Furina, it will give me approximately 208 stacks fanfare stacks (with her passive healing 2% 2s for 4s) and if i equip Maiden Beloved it will increase even further, not to mention Healing Bonus from Furina's Passive which is also gives in mean 20% healing bonus. In any case i can switch Furina to healing mode every other rotation to fully heal my teammates. So this banner will be skip for me if there is no good 4 star characters

Have both, never use Wanderer. Baizhu is almost always on the team…. Full team healing with a bit of dendro. Plus the semi shield does come in handy.
i think i would like Baizhu, he's pretty interesting, like i find him to be a better on field driver than Nahida. like he feels easier and more comfortable than playing Nahida on field. The only thing i don't like about him is his off field dendro App feels pretty meh. like he doesn't feel like a good deepwood user.
Any other character model usually feels better than the child models, so that’s understandable.
it's a bit of an investment...but Baizhu's C2 makes him a god tier deepwood user. Completely passive deepwood activation, don't even need to switch to him. His C1 helps too, his skill hitting 3 opponents each time it fires off and all. I didn't get to play him much at C0, but looking at his talents, his ult fires off every 2.5 seconds or so, so it should be able to fill in for his skill cooldown of 10 seconds on single targets, but yeah, probably will not be enough to consistently apply the deepwood debuff for multiple enemies. But then again, where I am at in the game right now, those non-boss enemies that come at me in large groups, they don't typically live more than 8 seconds, so it's hard for me to tell how much that matters :P
