    Normally, do you have the next day working as well (as part of the normal 7-5pm Monday job), so that it actually becomes a 36 hrs shift, or do you have off after a 24 hrs duty.

    • @nupurkhare7941
      @nupurkhare7941 4 роки тому

      You always have off after 24 hours... sometimes it might take you a bit longer to finish the shift... some patient coming in near the end of shift or being stuck in OT. But legally 24 hours shift are maximum you can ask from a doctor

    • @docdeemishra
      @docdeemishra 4 роки тому +2

      In Europe, any person is allowed to work maximum 24 hours at one stretch , next shift can begin only after a Pause of minimum 11 hours.

    Are you getting opportunity to operate while still not a Facharzt?
    I hear in Germany operations are difficult to get unless you have Facharzt

    • @docdeemishra
      @docdeemishra 2 роки тому

      I get my due share of surgeries under supervision of my consultants, but its true that one can operate independently after having passed the exam., after Facharzt the frequency of operating independently increases significantly.
