The green on your 55' looks great! I wish you the best fixing it. 🤞 Cool idea sanding the whitewalls, I really like that Ed! I'm going to be using those tires on my Nomad in a month or so and that truck will come in real handy! Happy Modeling 😎👍
Greetings! The Nomad kit is quite fun. I've built a few and I want to make a factory stock El Camino too. One thing I noticed is that in the 1986 kit (And ones before) AMT included a panel to fill the back seat opening that had the floor texture molded on it. That piece has been missing from the mold for decades. I was hoping it would return in the latest version, but I haven't seen it yet. Keep up the good work! The metallic apple green looks nice.
Awesome video Ed. Don't worry, over here at Bruce's Eclectic World we have the same kind of fun and roll that way... Lol I have asthma and COPD and I use "LA Totally Awesome" degreaser to strip everything and it has no bad odor at all... All the Dollar stores carry it... I like the baking soda trick, it works great. Get ya some of the 3M red spot putty for cars and use that to till the pin holes. Works great and not to much work. LLAP 🖖
hello Ed... i am also building the same model & was thinking of doing as you did with cutting off the back part...i like the color.. i hope you're able to fix the issue.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny
I like the green on your 55. Love what you did with the tires. I'll be watching
Thanks Mike.

Oh that's great. It seems like a straight forward kit. I used Tamiya TS -52. Good luck.
Ed looking cool brother
Thanks Phil. 👍
You can remove chrome with easy-off oven cleaner, but wear protective equipment. - I mean, if you want to.
Hello Trevor. Yes. Have a great weekend. 👍
