Amazon Link with no affiliate benefit to me. I bought this bag for my DoorDash, UberEats, and Grub Hub multi app delivery and am such a raving fan, I want to tell her drivers about it. Paying it forward to the greater food delivery community. Every driver should have this bag. I use it for ALL my deliveries except pizza. Even small ones if I need it warm. I've even used it for Starbucks drink only orders.
A well constructed durable insulated easy to clean food carrier with great zippers and 4 drink holders that lacks structure and usefulness prior to free no cost but your time modifications.
If your looking for a value solution, do food delivery that includes Chinese food, Red Lobster, Panera, Soup places, etc. and are tired of food spilling or sliding around in your bag, look no further. This is your bag with the necessary modifications I show here.
I made the bottom rigid with 3 sections of cardboard (one in the inside of the insulated bag and 2 in a secret double bottom velcro section.
I used the box that it came in for some rigidity but it wasn't enough for me. I was concerned that the external drink holders might still spill. Besides the box it came in is pretty big and smaller orders would still slide around. That wouldn't work well with liquid soup like orders. It needs more division and rigidity.
My solution at no cost but my time and mental engineering was chasing down 2 bread boxes from Aldi's (gotten for free) that I cut 4 - 9" ends off to provide rigidity to the box and to create sections within the box so food doesn't slide around. I used 3 of the ends for rigidity and one for a divider that I can flip and lay flat for large bagged orders (see the video).
It's become my go to bag for 95% of food delivery orders. I grab it for ALL deliveries except for pizza because when I didn't I regretted it and went back to the car to get it. Time is money and this bag makes me money and worry free warm deliveries.
I find it is rare that I need to use another bag ever that includes stacked orders. If God Forbid the cardboard gets food spilled on (has not happened) I will wipe the easy to clean bag down and go to Aldi's for more free bread boxes.
I've had the bag for nearly 2 months now and it shows no signs of wear. I would purchase another if I see a pattern of large orders or the bag wears out. You won't regret getting it IF AND ONLY IF YOU DO MY SUGGESTED MODIFICATIONS. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF SPILLS AND 4 USELESS DRINK HOLDERS.
