Imagine this being some random hero’s first week on the job and 20 cities get busted and every villain is running around in the streets and a prison break happens.
I'm sorry but can we talk about how the Hero Safety Commission tried to ASSASSINATE Re-Destro? And then still got bodied and lost their leader? Safety commission has pure violence in their veins. They literally trained Hawks to be happy on the outside but go for fatal blows(which isn't something most heroes do). But luckily for them, it was just a Twice clone. If it weren't for the Clone's weakened body, it could've destroyed the building with one of Re-Destro's burden blasts and then he could've warned the other villains that the heroes were trying something shady. So even though they got beaten, they were really lucky. Well, lucky is a bit of a stretch. Because now AFO is about to break out his real body. Meaning that there would be two people with the AFO quirk running around as well as seven almost High-End Nomu, Dabi, Toga, Spinner, Skeptic, and any other members of the liberation army who escaped roaming the streets. Things are not looking good for the heroes.
I have a feeling toga will do her own thing and not rejoin the league. She was looking for answers from Uraraka regarding the heroes killing twice and it seems Twice was the only person keeping her there. Plus uraraka's speech about taking the consequences of your actions got her to cry. I don't think she will become good or anything, but I don't see her returning, but maybe observing the students more under disguise to learn more about Izuku and Uraraka. Spinner may leave too...he joined the league for Stains vision and he believed Shigaraki would make that future a reality, but AFO has taken over. That look on his face shows he is questioning everything and wants to save Shigaraki. I am worried about the 100 or so liberation members still out there because anyone could be a part of them. It seems AFO will get broken out of jail as there's no heroes healthy enough or strong to stop it, accept for maybe Leminion but he can't do it alone and just got his power back. I agree that the commission is shady, they keep letting the UA kids fight almost dying, and covering it up. Since s2 this has been happening.
This episode took me by surprise, I was not expecting things to get this real and dark out of nowhere. Especially Midnight's death was a shock to me, I didn't think MHA was the kind of anime that'd actually kill one of the "main" side characters after all this time. Really curious to see where the story goes from here, I'm very excited.
Idk if I've ever been more upset at a character death than Midnight. I kinda get what the author was going for in making it sudden, but at the same time for such a cool character it felt so disgraceful 😪
I was personally fine with Midnight not being confirmed dead until here because in the middle of the war it would have been lost in all the stuff going on to drown out the reaction a bit more. Then move on to next action scene so not time to linger on it much within the episode with other stuff to take attention away from it. So here seeing in real time with the kids seems more impactful for focus in that way. But I also understand why someone could not like it that way.
I'm gonna be honest especially cause I know what happens in the manga, this death was pointless it didn't really serve much to the greater story. Also later on there's gonna be lots of face palm moments lol. Sadly mha isn't what it used to be :(

Honestly find it hard to accept that midnight died as I really liked her character, especially because she was hit with debris and finished off at the ground by a few bad guys, like what. Meanwhile all villains but twice was captured alive, over 16k villains... I know for sure I wouldn't be able to be a hero in this world because I would just snap and start killing them in return for all the pain and suffering they've inflicted.
More like laughing at how they thought she died. Similar to when they laughed when Mr. Compress was throwing pocket buildings around or when Mt. Lady was being dragged around. It's funny to some people because it defies or subverts expectations.
Stain was right , crazy when you think about how all the hero weren't able to do 1% of what allmight did , here we can see how much powerful ( not just physically but as symbol) allmight was
Yeah but at the same time, it was because of All Might that most heroes became lenient since they felt so safe behind his influence as the symbol of peace. They didn't think about what would happen if he was killed or retired and now they're paying for that mistake of being lazy and laid back.
Not exactly. It's more that Stain wasn't completely wrong. But we already knew that, Endeavor almost perfectly exemplified everything Stain hated. But his expectations were grossly unrealistic. Even if more people had aspired to be more like All Might, they simply didn't have the capacity and never would. His idealism called for an impossible standard with a lotto winner as his prime example. Completely unsustainable ideology.

There are arcs that when you read, you think how much you can’t wait to see it animated. And then you see it and don’t realize just how much it tries to hurt you. This was one of those arcs
@@AintNoWaye I hope they skipped it. Nothing worse than when reactors watch an OP, get spoiled but never show it. It can seriously undercut moments when they have already reacted to the OP spoilers and perhaps even drawn incorrect conclusions that make the actual moments not hit for them.
Cool thing about the new outro is that a lot of those images aren’t just recap panels but they’re from Midoriya’s perspective, it’s him remembering everything he’s been through up to this point and thinking about his friends. You can see the pov changes for some of the shots where it his hands reaching out.
Yeah the part that got me the most was him looking at the all might statue with the depressed background like it was all happy moments and the boom it drags you back to the sad reality and the song is amazing
I gotta say, the anime did a better job regarding Midnight's death. In the manga it happens in the blink of an eye, and you don't really linger on it the way it does in the anime. Like I felt nothing while reading the manga at that moment, but in this episode it almost made me cry
You know seeing all that Chaos a thought came to my Mind, most Villians would have been extremly useful Rescue Heros. Compress can Transport and "Freeze" anything doesnt matter who many or who heavy. Twice is an Unlimited "Workforce". Sceptic can "produce" an nearly unlimited Amounts of Workers. Shigaraki can clear any Amount of Debris without Problem. Trumpet can "Incite" anyone to get them more Energy. Geten can Freeze shut any Bleeding Wound. Overhaul would be an God Tier "Healer". Re-Destro can also Clear any amount of Debris.
Dark Deku Arc incoming!!!! And finally we will see Lady Nagant!! It feels like just a few months ago that arc happened. I cant wait to see all the reactions to what goes down🔥🔥
I think this recap episode was alright to have. A lot of shit went down in the previous 13 episodes, and this basically marks the end of the worst. Gives us as the viewers a sense of the pure misery and despair on everyone while letting us fully take in the past 13 episodes. Very well done in my opinion
If you ask me, this catastrophe weeded out the fake heroes from the real ones, (not the ones who died. If anything they were one of the most true heroes). Cowards like the one who quit and thought that it’s some “job” you can just opt for or take for granted have no business pretending to be something they’re not: Strong and a hero. It’s the most non lethal form of Stain’s revolution. Sad to see he was right all along.
These people in the comments be dumb as rocks Istg lmfaooo This episode is the first of cour 2, it's a recap because 1. It's for the BlueRay edition, and each cour starts with one 2. This is from Adult Deku's perspective (like almost all narrative in the series) and is giving us, and himself, a run down of what happened during this war Comprehension is something yall need to master lol this isn't preschool, all of you should be able to handle contextual clues by now, and yes that goes for people who're saying that Midnight's death was off-screen too; If you didn't assume that her situation was fatal from the get go, that's completely on you, not the series lol it was quite prompted, From the Rubble, the fall, to the weapon wielding villains with gas masks in the background when she gave her last order to Momo.
I liked the recap because it kind of shuffled the combat scenes together as when they happened, plus adding that scene with the Redestro clone and the president of the hero regulation bunch getting killed as happening right as it all kicked off. Less a reminder and more a re-contextualization, sort of, maybe? I don't know.
Lol people forget if they didn't go after the villains shigaraki would've been completely at 100% there should literally be no questioning of them trying this raid...
That 10min recap was probably coz they had a slow start when coming back from the christmas break. Most work places usually take a few days to get back to full steam. Still would have been better off taking 2 weeks off instead of releasing this, lol.

The fact that those who were reassured by her found her body was such a punch in the throat... And the fact that all the scene was so delicate to potrait all of this was such a win... I never expected to be so sad for her loss, and here i am
Midnight🥲 props to the voice actors in that scene, it was emotional
I personally was waiting for that Midnight death reaction after they were laughing at her getting hit by Mr .Compress.
Roshi knew it was coming.
He read the manga, though I can’t say how long ago he did or how much he remembered while watching the episode.
@@BronyGaming-or8kv I know roshi does but it was more so towards Lupa & sherra (he really just be smirking in the middle). Lol you saw how Lupa looked when he actually found out midnight got clapped. "Damn I laughed at the situation that somewhat got her killed"
@@theblackjohn low key it was funny you got to admit that
There are arcs that when you read, you think how much you can’t wait to see it animated. And then you see it and don’t realize just how much it tries to hurt you. This was one of those arcs
What do you mean by hurt? Like emotionally scarring ?
@@jilvermazariegos not scarring per say but you’re more or less correct
bruh none of these characters ever had any development, who gives a fuck that they died
only thing that hurt me is how the show manages to consistently churn out shitty ass adaptation.
@@rightmunted7538 cry harder
I’m a little sad they reacted to the ED but not the OP, but oh well
Yeah, wanted to see that...
well tbf op has spoilers im sure roshi skipped it for them or something but then again they could close eyes
@@Merilirem If an OP is enough to spoil you then you're an idiot lmfao
@@Merilirem yup
The best part of the episode was clearly Uraraka's saddened, painful and hopeless face. That was so intense😔
It sucks because you literally cannot save everyone. No matter HOW badly you want to. You JUST cannot do it
Dark Deku Arc incoming!!!! And finally we will see Lady Nagant!!
It feels like just a few months ago that arc happened. I cant wait to see all the reactions to what goes down🔥🔥
My favorite character is finally here
Spoilers dude.
Besides the recap, I really enjoyed this episode. RIP Midnight 😪
I think this recap episode was alright to have. A lot of shit went down in the previous 13 episodes, and this basically marks the end of the worst. Gives us as the viewers a sense of the pure misery and despair on everyone while letting us fully take in the past 13 episodes. Very well done in my opinion
I am upset you guys didn't show your reaction to the OP. I was most excited for that.
They don't want to be spoiled fam lol
They haven't watched it themselves, Roshi is waiting so Lupa and Sheera don't get spoiled
@@HarpyLady what spoilers? the fact that events happen? lol k
@@HarpyLady what's the point of an opening if you aren't gonna watch it? It was made with the show being released
I was waiting for y'all to react to the opening come onnnnn
The tonal shift is insane in this ep, even if it is recap
The best reactions of anime in this channel! Congratulations🇪🇦🤙
Damn, Midnight got off-screened by extras. That's tough.
These people in the comments be dumb as rocks Istg lmfaooo This episode is the first of cour 2, it's a recap because
1. It's for the BlueRay edition, and each cour starts with one
2. This is from Adult Deku's perspective (like almost all narrative in the series) and is giving us, and himself, a run down of what happened during this war
Comprehension is something yall need to master lol this isn't preschool, all of you should be able to handle contextual clues by now, and yes that goes for people who're saying that Midnight's death was off-screen too; If you didn't assume that her situation was fatal from the get go, that's completely on you, not the series lol it was quite prompted, From the Rubble, the fall, to the weapon wielding villains with gas masks in the background when she gave her last order to Momo.
Rest in Peace, Master Driller
perhaps in another life your drill will be the one to pierce the heavens.
Ayy nice reference 👍
Honestly, wit the way this season popped off, they deserve the break, I'll take a recap for half an episode
second half this season bought to go ham, vigilante deku is best deku
I liked the recap because it kind of shuffled the combat scenes together as when they happened, plus adding that scene with the Redestro clone and the president of the hero regulation bunch getting killed as happening right as it all kicked off. Less a reminder and more a re-contextualization, sort of, maybe? I don't know.
Lol people forget if they didn't go after the villains shigaraki would've been completely at 100% there should literally be no questioning of them trying this raid...
Pretty sure the recap was just so that the season ends on a specific point lol
May God Bless and Keep you three and yours, Happy New Year in Jesus' Name, Amen!
Romans 10:8-13, Proverbs 3:5-8
Y'all don't but some reactors really needed those 10 mins.
That 10min recap was probably coz they had a slow start when coming back from the christmas break. Most work places usually take a few days to get back to full steam. Still would have been better off taking 2 weeks off instead of releasing this, lol.
this episode was very disappointing, anyway, I think you guys would like an anime called Durarara!!, give it a chance and you won't regret it, I promisse.😁
Yeah bro, the building didnt kill her. The villains jumping her did. And also the recap was in the manga chapter bro. You really cant be mad at the anime when the manga did it too
Roshi didnt like it but , out of all recaps, this one is the best one because its like that as well in the manga, the detail explanation, severity, the change of tone, and the point of no return, we dont see deku at all, we got no all might, fuckin endeavor got canceled, its the best episode so far this season IMO
i have a movie recommendation to react to
korean movie:
The Witch Part 1 :The Subversion
The Witch Part 2: The other one
Day 850 recommending a corean show called "My Name" on netflix
Is there any chance that you guys are gonna react to Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro?
Can't believe they did Midnight like that, RIP
Im super annoyed honestly.
