For those jazz fans, all of the Stanley Turrentine LPs on the Blue Note Tone Poet series are absolutely fantastic! This is one of my favorite jazz collections to date. Everything from the master tape sources, to the Kevin Gray mastering, to the Stoughton tip-on jackets, are just over the top perfect in every way. Every time I play one, I feel transported to the 60s and feel like I'm sitting in Rudy Van Gelder's recording studio. As you can tell from my front wall, I'm a huge fan. Get them while they are still in print. They are truly collector-worthy!
