It’s the same as Hollywood not being able to come up with any fresh ideas so they remake everything. Can we PLEASE have some new original designs again? Please?
White multi color Alma was my first LV bag ever. I was on a waiting list for the bag and it was taking forever. I happened to be at Saks fifth Avenue in Chicago and they had a nano white multicolor speedy on display. I decided to buy it just to have a piece from the collection. As the SA was ringing me up (it was 5:55pm and they were closing at 6pm), I turned to my boyfriend and said “well it’s not the Alma that I wanted, but at least I have a piece from the collection.” The SA looked up from the register and said “The Alma? I have a white multicolor Alma in back that somebody was supposed to pick up today but didn’t pick it up. It’s yours if you want it.” That white multicolor Alma came home with me that day and still sits on my shelf. I also eventually bought a black multicolor speedy, Black nano speedy, and the white multicolor Gracie bag from that collection. I sold those three, but will never sell my Alma. That being said, I have no interest in buying from this current collection. Been there, done that. I'm actually over LV canvas altogether.
A few sales associates confirmed that LV will not give commission to SA for this collection. Apparently the collection sales itself....... no need to pay them. How sad of LV
LV took pre-orders in December for a launch happening beginning of January. There is no way, that they were ever producing according to pre.orders. I'm pretty sure that everything was already produced when the pre-orders were taken. So, of course this apparent scarcity is all a whole lot of b...sh....Also this thing with: oh, my store did not get the ribbons, they did not get the paper, they did not get the shopping bags. When I see this, I find it hard to believe that a company, who is in the business for well over 100 years does not know how to do a launch 🤨
I found a small trunk jewelry box with handles LV Murakami at a estate sale. Perfect shape, excellent condition and numbered. Right now you can find similar ones selling for over $20K . They sold it to me back then in 2008 for only $10 bucks, they thought it was fake! SCORED!!
By them not releasing more stock will just give the power to resellers. They’re the ones who will win at the end really. LV sent so much free merch to influencers they HAVE to recover their money
This re-release collection was not intended for us. I think it was meant to be exclusive for the celebrities and influencers and anything leftover gets sold as 'pre-order' to their wealthy/loyal customers to make them feel lucky. Then they will release a whole heap more and everyone will quickly snap it up due to FOMO.
Nah… they are highly counting on GenZ having a y2k moment. It’s not for us millennials, using Zendaya as the collab embassador, using Sophie’s music on the ads… it’s obviously targeted to the GenZ. And from what I’m seeing on TikTok they’re EATING IT UP.
I can’t explain how grateful I am that your speaking the truth and telling people there’s certain brands that do laugh at consumers faces and buyers need to stand up to and say no more
Thank you so much 🙏💖 I just uploaded the newest update about this launch disaster… here the link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/z54TUB0tKw4/v-deo.htmlsi=LM8jbRYkuD9xmU84
Dacob, I really agree with your takes. They really had a chance to reinvent this collection and do a whole new vibe, style, and artworks. The one thing I'll add is a lot of us didn't get a chance to buy this collection originally because we were too young. Although this is just a cash grab, it gives us a chance to finally buy something we always desired. I find a lot of the original collection online is not in the best shape or would be similar pricing to today if it's in excellent condition.
Thank you. LV sales have slowed down for a couple of past quarter. When LV went by tiered customers to pre-sale this collection it was a turn off. I wasn't too crazy about the original launch so I knew I wasn't going to get caught up in the hype. The quality is probably horrendous.
I want a piece from the Cherry collection but don’t live near a store, I tried to get a piece from this last collection online but it wouldn’t let me pay, when I talked to customer service a few days later they said the system was overwhelmed! So the same thing will probably happen with the next release! What’s a girl gotta do to get a LV new release bag?
The materials and quality are just not worth the exorbitant prices. They are out of their minds with what they are charging these days for a bag. If I’m investing over $3,000, it’s not going to be on a murakami rehash.
The original collab was better. I still have my white multicolor bandana in cotton. It even has tiny holes from when i lost it on an overseas trip and found it after it was run over by multiple cars near the hotel where i dropped it after a day trip to the beach lol At the time, i bought it because it was the only item i found useful that wasn’t a purse/bag. Everything is so lazy these days. It’s easier to reissue some archival collections than imagine something new.
I think the first collection was actually really cool. It had the essence of anime and kawaii, so coveted and desired. This collection feels almost like a dupe, try hard version.
I'm not going to lie, I like that they did the same thing. I missed out on the earlier collections because I was too young (and not focused on LV, my designer heart was with other brands) But I've regretted not buying a piece for two decades.. so in that sense, I'm really happy they did basically the same again. I'm okay with brands doing the same for items that worked.
I’ve been waiting for someone to finally share the same sentiment I do… and of course it’s Dacob! I don’t feel the hype and it’s not worth it! Keep your money in your pockets!!
Yes. People r so. weired this Collection was still available. In Second market. They could buy it. Why now. They want They r. The same. Model nothing new
I was one of those who missed out from the OG because cannot afford yet. SonI was in Vienna when the launch happened. And I really wanted to have a small leather good from the collection. The Rosalie purse I got was the only stock they have that day. But what frustrates me was it didn’t came with all the packaging that was advertised. The SA said they ran out. I didn’t believe that. Scam right in front of me. 🤦🏻♀️
I got the card case since I didn’t have the means to buy 20 years ago. I was bummed our store didn’t get any of the packaging (so they say) to go with it. If this is another trick to get me to get something else or larger will not happen.
Couldn't agree with you more, and your very sensible attitude about all of this is probably really helpful to many folks. It's ridiculous enough that the prices are what they are for a completely not-new release. Making people think they have limited supply is just laughable. Mass production of all this stuff is certainly no secret. At least the first release was innovative and special. I've been enjoying looking at the 20 year old panda pochettes and bags. They were so cute. Been thinking about you a lot, and hope you're doing okay. Hugs.
The fact that LV is so desperate to keep launching new items almost monthly that tells us this is NOT a luxury brand anymore. This design was stopped because customers back then have issues with bleeding (red colour sipped into the white permanently. It was also seen as a tacky design, targeting for the Asian market who liked cartoon or Japanese Manga. If you like this type of design, sure. LV will not sell this out, they might even take your money and keep you waiting for 8-10 moths to make you think they are rare or valuable. Please stop, our weapons as consumers is our desire not to buy, they will really panic 😂😂😂 , they are already doing. Never have I seen the luxury market so poorly made and extremely over produced. Decob is absolutely right, they are SO desperate now, they have to create FOMO to fake selling out. Please don’t fall for that.
I love your scarf! I guess we can call it vintage now. I agree, you cannot go backwards and think you are going to have that same moment all over again. It never works any which way you turn. Sort of like a person, remembering the great time they had twenty years ago, and they want to go back and experience it all over again. It doesn't work because it's a moment and the moment past. I loved that LV look when it came out. It was refreshing and pretty and alive.
I agree with you on most of what you said. But you have the re-edition cherry release date wrong. Those are to be released in May I believe and at least some will be on top of denim. Not sure if any cherry prints will be on top of monogram. My understanding is that March they will release a small collection of Sakura bags and slg. I’m not big on multicolor but I do love the panda prints. I got the panda toiletry bag(s) and leather keepall. They are my fav prints from Murakami.
How are they supposed to make all these bags made by “artisans” so quickly for this kind of demand? They probably had a certain amount premade based on how many they thought they could sell. As someone who work in IT, I can say there’s a lot that goes into making a website working especially involving transactions with high traffic. Companies pay millions on servers and developers. LV’s website probably wasn’t built to handle that much traffic and transactions at the same time. Let’s say there’s a 100 bags and 1000 people are trying to put them in their carts and check out at the same time. There’s a lot that goes into making that go smoothly. They probably underestimated the demand. To the people complaining about bags being in stores but not able to purchase them online: There’s no way a store can keep track of both at the same time, so they will have to be some that are set aside just for the boutique. Just think about it. One bag at the store. Two people looking at it online. Two people at the store. How are you supposed to determine who gets it??? It’s simple logic The same reasoning also can be applied for the preordering. They didn’t want nothing in the boutique or on the website available on launch day. But there were so many preorders they panicked. They couldn’t have nothing in the so they had to say just because you preordered, it doesn’t mean you can have it. I am not defending them. They should have been outright said “we are only making this many because we don’t have enough time for the artisans to make more. We will take preorders but we want some in the boutique and available online to be fair to people who don’t have SAs, but it will be first come first serve. If the demand is high, we will make more but it will take some time”
Thank you for sharing your view and treasures from TM last collection Shawl and scarfs from new collection are sold out, I was considering other items, but then seeing the last collection are much better made, I can save couns as you said, Cherry prints are so lovely! Hate the heart playing game too, waste of my time& energy.
Overpriced? Definitely! Overhyped? For sure! But....I am in love with the black speedy that has the silvertone corners and hardware. I'm having Verucca Salt FoMo! 🤦♀️😑😵💫🥺😱
Apparently there was supposed to be a second round of availability on the 10th (in the U.S.), but that got canceled. I’m trying to be patient and wait for things to become freely available on the website, but I have to admit that I’m worried LV will just decide they’re over it, no more restock, and just move on to the next collection.
I Will Not Be Getting Anything From The Other 2 Collections !!! I Couldn't Get A $240 Twilly From The First Collection Then Never Mind !! I'm Over It All !!!
As a sales associate at a major department store who does have to think about commission, hey if you're nice then I'll make it my personal challenge to get you your stuff as long as it's available. I really don't understand anyone trying to keep up a client relationship being that snobbish about spending. You want it, it's in stock, let's get this (as long as I'm not having to physically call another store and make them walk the item to shipping. Sitting through the hold music is agony and half the time, they don't pick up.)
I bought a speedy for my '20years ago self' ive had the FOMO for 20yrs. Is it ground breaking no, should I have bought pre loved, probably. Love the pieces you shared. Stunning. ❤
I really with you would have lead with what you were saying at the end of the video. On the one hand there is discourse everywhere about knowing one’s worth and not being a pick me, etc in the dating/ human to human relationship context, but on the other hand folks are out there spending their hard earn money to prove they can be the biggest pick-me for some large faceless publicly traded corporation. When I think of luxury I think of an experience that is centered around me and getting what I want, which is the highest quality design and craftsmanship. Not me waiting in line to get into a store to jump through hoops to prove something to someone lording what I want over me, telling me I can take what they give me when they want to give it to me, and I’m going to like it. I can’t think of anything more antithetical to luxury than that. It’s literally how desperate people or poor people are treated. To me a luxury hand bag experience is going to a studio or showroom of a master craftsperson, being served at least a nice glass of champagne or cup of tea, and looking through swatches and hardware samples at a leisurely pace. This generation seems very confused about what luxury is. Just because a company has anointed itself a “Luxury Brand” doesn’t mean you have to believe them.
Thats why it’s important to watch my videos all the way to the end. I have a precise crescendo and structure to the build up of my videos. It’s not coincidental. Ever. Xoxo
Like you, I have some older pieces from the multicolor and the cherries. I didn’t preorder and I didn’t ask, but my CA called and offered me some pieces. I settled on two pairs of sunglasses and I’ll see how it goes with cherry blossoms and cherries. It’s all fine 😊
Is it just me or is the new Multicolore in a different quality? I have not seen it in person but from the pictures and videos the canvas seem «thinner» or flimsy? So happy that I have my Speedy Multicolore from the 1st launch. It is in excellent, like new condition and I look forward to pull it out this summer. Back then they were not hard to get. I was on a hasty visit to London and walked into LV’s Sloane street store and just told them what I wanted. I bought quite a few bags that day. During the Marc Jacobs era I assembled a serious collection of LV. Since then I have not liked the direction LV took their designs and now I hardly bother to check on their launches. Quality is down, designs unappealing (at least to me) and customer service really turned me off at one point. Both my Murakami Speedy and my LV roller bag had fabrication errors. They handled it really badly and although the errors were theirs they charged me for the repairs. It took forever since they had to ship both of them to Paris. Which makes me uneasy about future purchases. I consider myself a good customer of LV through the years, but I will absolutely not stand in line or be on a waitlist for something I will most likely have to prepay. I agree with you that the hype around this new Murakami launch is a bit transparent. Any brand, luxury or not, wants to sell. I am certain that most of the items will be available later. Then I might consider picking up something. But the massive donation of bags to influencers is a big turnoff for me. I certainly understand how that marketing angle works, but it is so very unappealing to know that the substantial amount of money I will have to put down for a bag LV has dished out around the world for free🤔.
There is NO handbag that I haven't had a second chance to get even if is limited and blah blah blah. I remember that FOMO for the multi-pochette A. When was just released ppl paid up to $3000 dollars and is now seen it in so many ppl most hated handbags and being sold for $1200 in Consignment shops. Chile who knows.. Knows and Lv won't ever get me again. period! Love you Jacob ❤️😂
I went to the LV store in nyc 57th Street but I really don’t want to spend money on an LV bag. I just wanted to check the store out and see if I can get into the LV Cafe without a reservation. It was snowing that day so thought maybe there may be cancellations. I was wrong.
The cherries were my favorite, but I want to wait and see what people think about the quality... I would love to replace the cherry speedy 25 I once owned, but not if the new release has the same quality issues people have been reporting lately. :/
I ordered the two Jane notebooks in-store (white multicolor and super flat panda), and while I’m no rush to get them right away, I anticipate being underwhelmed and disappointed that the materials are made of “textile” rather than the canvas they’re known for. Thus, the hype of this rerelease is not worth it and you are absolutely spot on.
I snagged a white Theda bag from the original collection!!! I got it for such a steal because of some intense wear but made in France and the canvas and leather are still perfection. I haven’t even seen any content about it , that’s for the best for me . I honestly just wanted to finally get some vintage lv after seeing this new collection :/ Got my gm theda for less than the mini bag charm 😂
For many years Murakami WAS Louis Vuitton to me. Never paid attention to the brand at all until I saw Paris Hilton with her MC bags lol. I fell in love with that rainbow monogram but could never afford anything back then. A couple years ago though I finally got my dream bag preloved, a Lodge PM, from eBay Japan along with a wallet and agenda. They were as amazing as I'd hyped them up to be in my mind. Sounds silly, but I've never been rich and finally having the designer bag I'd always wanted but never thought I could have was the realization of a poor girl's dream. I'm once again poor now that they've finally brought Murakami back, but I'm almost glad because it's turning out to be kind of disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I would love a CarryAll or Speedy B but not at those prices, and not if I have to stress over whether or not I'll even get my order. Luxury shouldn't come with worry and disappointment. This launch stinks of Hermes tactics with pre-spend and manufactured scarcity. Oh they're making sure celebrities and influencers get theirs right away, but everyone else has to just keep refreshing the page and hoping their order doesn't get cancelled. Honestly, it's gross. And with the so-so quality this time compared to the OG pieces... you know what I'm just gonna enjoy what I already have 😁🌈 Even if I could afford it I don't think I want to give billionaires any more money anyway.
Their treatment of customers has been appalling. I managed to land on a website order that I've received. I'm glad I got the bag, even though it's overpriced, I'm happy with it and it's very pretty. I have a piece from the old collection and one from the new. At these prices though, it's all been pretty shameful. I've never witnessed this with cheaper high street brands. It's almost like you should feel grateful for being allowed to hand your money over for them to sit on and wait and see if they will honor you with the privilege of fulfilling your order. Pretty bag, shameless sales/ business activities
They FOMO me Dacob! I bought 3 items and I can't get the Speedy, I have the OG Speedy, the big Keepall, and some little items, even my hubby said the OG are better. Ugh! Still I'm dissapointed and feel betrayed since the stuff that I recently purchased didn't come with the proper Murakami packaging. I didn't get stickers, bag, LV tissue paper - I felt BETRAYED to be honest.
...and meanwhile they removed every classic Speedy from their website. Waiting for it to come back "revamped" (aka worse) with a substantially higher price tag! 😮💨
Dacob are we just getting old?? I was so obsessed with this collab the first time around, watching Jessica Simpson wearing her bag on that terrible reality show she was on.. This time around though feels like the magic is just gone..
I agree as your opinion is similar to mine: An adaption of the styles would have been nicer than just re-releasing the products. Also, seeing the influencers style their products in an unpleasant 90s/2000s style ... it feels like a mockery or parody to me. I'd love to see the pieces integrated into today's aestethics. Therefore I'm happy with the cherry pochette I bought 2nd hand some years ago. I put a lot of effort into a) deciding between Multicolor, Cherry Blossom and Cerises and b) the type of bag before I finally made the purchase. Happy to this day and beyond.
Welp seems like people are losing their minds over it so…. And I will never understand why someone would want to carry a bag that looks childish. It’s like a 40 yo walking around sporting Hello Kitty. 😂
It was so cute in 2003 and I hoped for some new designs in this collection but no. Already too much hype everywhere. And as you said they produce much more than just limited in half year when the hype is over you can easily afford it pre loved but I guess till then I cannot see it anymore because the fake market will be busy too and it will be everywhere Your vintage scarf is adorable❤️
Patience really is key but many do not possess it and brand marketing can easily exploit that weakness to the benefit of the brand if they wanted to. Allegedly.
I was in the only LV store in Short Hill NJ there wasn’t even display for Murakami as they didnt get any pieces. They had one coussson which was shipped to them and that was it. So not sure if this is the case. I was offered the piece but $5500 USD for that cousin wasn’t worth it for me.
Just to put in perspective: there are roughly a little bit more than 6 THOUSAND Louis Vuitton stores around the world. Not to mention their websites around the world. And they’re telling me that they produced 20.000 units of each of the bags? I have to laugh miss LouiV… I have to laugh.
The original Murakami collab with Marc Jacobs was better quality, more original yes...but I got an SLG from this launch and it's glossy and beautiful. Crossing my fingers that the availability won't be so limited and I agree, let's not feed the resellers. But Dacob, I think you will love at least one SLG from this relaunch, the colors are slightly more saturated. It's overpriced and construction isn't quite the same, but still so pretty.
I love this collection, I won't buy from the re-release, I WILL get a og bag from the cherries or Sakura collection, at this moment I couldn't afford but I know I will be able to hopefully late this year
Had the opportunity to pre order- my SA could not believe I wasn’t interested- never a fan of the original or the new- it feels juvenile to me- not paying that much for things that look like 8 year olds would have- still love LV just not hopping on the wagon for the “nostalgia”
How are you feeling about the drone conspiracy people using purse names like “Dior bag” instead of saying drones on the internet? It’s killing searching by hashtags.
Just before crimbo i bought a little card wallet with keychain and a little twilly that says Di. Or buuuut! The wallet is white with the colurful logos exactly like the vuitton murakami collab, I paid a quid for it in our poundland stores... Sadly it's not leather😂
Agree completely with you on the wait and see. The cherry bags came out in 2005 and I wanted the Speedy 25. I watched that bag for literally months as it went out of stock, came back in, went out of stock and came back in. I finally pulled the trigger in June. However, it was available off and on all through 2005. This is corporate created FOMO, nothing more. Your cherry scarf is to die for!
I love when brands relaunch great successes. Perfume, nail polish. Even if the art work is the same , many people would like to have now what they couldn't have in the past. However the price is too much . They are allienating their potential customers.
I really wanted to get white cotton cherry print scarf (from 20 years ago ) and I ordered it on vestiare and the girl just never sent it 💔 🍒 I wanted to wear it as a top for my bday commin up
The drama with these luxury brands is, they assume the price hikes are to exclude the middle class customer interested in the product, forgetting that common sense is shared even by the wealthy. Even the rich buy inexpensive things and are price conscious/ aware enough to not want to be taken for a ride. The incessant price hikes are also futile since the quality is poorer. The stockholders can see passed the price hikes and see that the brand is struggling to maintain the margins and the prestige that existed out of genuine demand and sales volumes. Remember, they all assumed that they could hide behind the 'new' Chinese customer base; who have now thinned out and withered away. Even there, they see that the revenues merely finance the unnecessary acquisition of other design brands and yet are not competitive enough to capture and to elevate the existing market elsewhere, China included.
spot on - I had never looked at it like that - they really haven't progressed at all since the last collab.... they never bothered to think about an evolution for the collab at all..... and the hype and FOMO are definitely there... I have seen so many LVxTM unboxings that I literally want to throw up.....specifically the influencers who have gotten their hands on a number of pieces.....this greed and never ending over consumption has gotten so out of hand.....
You seem to be the only luxury UA-camr that can see past the hype, FOMO, and bs marketing games and deliver the truth.
💯‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
True
They release a new collection every month like they are Zara
Literally. If they did a drop twice a year that would be nice but it feels like they release stuff every few weeks.
Exactly
It’s the same as Hollywood not being able to come up with any fresh ideas so they remake everything. Can we PLEASE have some new original designs again? Please?
I personally think the collection is beautiful. Overpriced yes, but beautiful and fun.
Nothing will ever top the original drop from 2003!

They r.
If this is another trick to get me to get something else or larger will not happen.
thank you everyone was crazy for this shit I love OG as you say don't do it Happy new year Dacob
😂😂😂😂😂
As a Gen Z adult some of us weren’t aware back then in 2005 we were just kids
So now as an adult this all feels fresh to me
Dacob is dressed just like the model in the thumb nail . 🎉 Looking good.🎉😊
My love I have that very same scarf,I’m so glad that I bought it way back when. “What was once old, is now new again” it’s the world that has changed.
To the people complaining about bags being in stores but not able to purchase them online:
There’s no way a store can keep track of both at the same time, so they will have to be some that are set aside just for the boutique.
Just think about it. One bag at the store. Two people looking at it online. Two people at the store. How are you supposed to determine who gets it???
It’s simple logic
The same reasoning also can be applied for the preordering.
If the demand is high, we will make more but it will take some time”
Thank you for sharing your view and treasures from TM last collection
Shawl and scarfs from new collection are sold out, I was considering other items, but then seeing the last collection are much better made, I can save couns as you said, Cherry prints are so lovely!
Hate the heart playing game too, waste of my time& energy.
Coach is also doing a cherry design. I wish they would be more original. The market could be saturated with cherry prints.
coach did them after LV did cherries in the early 2000s
I still have the original LV from 2002-23 and I was in a waitlist for it for months when it first came out 😊
@@oceanahealer did you get it or did they cancel your order and you had to buy preloved?
@ I got it from the LV store
Overpriced? Definitely! Overhyped?
The first collection was excellent.. I was interested in a small leather good..
Definitely a cash grab. 💸
You hit it on the nail!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯
Thank you tylovesbags 🙏🥰💖
As a sales associate at a major department store who does have to think about commission, hey if you're nice then I'll make it my personal challenge to get you your stuff as long as it's available. I really don't understand anyone trying to keep up a client relationship being that snobbish about spending. You want it, it's in stock, let's get this (as long as I'm not having to physically call another store and make them walk the item to shipping. Sitting through the hold music is agony and half the time, they don't pick up.)
seen some lovely NEVERFULL BAG on ebay and a very handsome ZIPPY PURSE
I bought a speedy for my '20years ago self' ive had the FOMO for 20yrs. Is it ground breaking no, should I have bought pre loved, probably. Love the pieces you shared. Stunning. ❤
Love the scarf! It’s the only item I’ve personally considered buying
Omg yesss, the multi pochette… dare I say, one of, if not the most ugly LV accessory/bag that LV ever made in my opinion. 😫😫😫💖💖💖
Got black speedy 30. Loveeeeee
They almost had me looking under furniture for some extra coins Chile 🤣😂💀
I went to the LV store in nyc 57th Street but I really don’t want to spend money on an LV bag. I just wanted to check the store out and see if I can get into the LV Cafe without a reservation. It was snowing that day so thought maybe there may be cancellations. I was wrong.
Seeing those influencers got them for free make me not want it 😂😂😂
The cherries were my favorite, but I want to wait and see what people think about the quality... I would love to replace the cherry speedy 25 I once owned, but not if the new release has the same quality issues people have been reporting lately. :/
I feel exactly the same! ❤
I do love the mini scarf and it looks good on you!
Well said Dacob! 👏 Nothing new, lesser quality, and huge mark ups. Original is best 😁
Thank you Katie 💖
I ordered the two Jane notebooks in-store (white multicolor and super flat panda), and while I’m no rush to get them right away, I anticipate being underwhelmed and disappointed that the materials are made of “textile” rather than the canvas they’re known for. Thus, the hype of this rerelease is not worth it and you are absolutely spot on.
I snagged a white Theda bag from the original collection!!! I got it for such a steal because of some intense wear but made in France and the canvas and leather are still perfection.
I haven’t even seen any content about it , that’s for the best for me . I honestly just wanted to finally get some vintage lv after seeing this new collection :/
Got my gm theda for less than the mini bag charm 😂
The new collection wasn’t delightfully tacky enough for me 😂
Right? People who criticize the collection for being tacky, well, duh. That's exactly the fun part of it. The prices are not fun though 😢
There will be another hit of a sh!t collection people will buy. Don't forget the Graffiti Collection. That will return too.
Maybe they use the exact 20yo designs by Murakami because LV did not do a new collaboration, and use designs they already paid for long ago.
Haven't they already said they are going to be making more?
White Multi didnt age well Black Multi looking good 😎
A lot of brands have been issuing re-editions for the past couple of years, from Prada, to Chanel, and so forth.
Dacob are we just getting old?? I was so obsessed with this collab the first time around, watching Jessica Simpson wearing her bag on that terrible reality show she was on.. This time around though feels like the magic is just gone..
I usually just buy them used at thrift stores 😁
I checked the collection. Very pretty bags but expensive. Even a wallet is five hundred dollars. I love the floral print. But beware as Dacob says.
The Dots...? As the next re-launch? Too much Drama 😂
It was so cute in 2003 and I hoped for some new designs in this collection but no.
Already too much hype everywhere. And as you said they produce much more than just limited in half year when the hype is over you can easily afford it pre loved but I guess till then I cannot see it anymore because the fake market will be busy too and it will be everywhere
Your vintage scarf is adorable❤️
Cerise and cherry blossom are coming back. Your take is absolutely correct.
Patience is what a lot lack and companies like these use that against us, same here aint falling for any games anymore.
I hope that all is well, love from Denmark 💜
I love this collection, I won't buy from the re-release, I WILL get a og bag from the cherries or Sakura collection, at this moment I couldn't afford but I know I will be able to hopefully late this year
I just want the panda charm or bandeau 🐼
Overhyped & overpriced 😅
Had the opportunity to pre order- my SA could not believe I wasn’t interested- never a fan of the original or the new- it feels juvenile to me- not paying that much for things that look like 8 year olds would have- still love LV just not hopping on the wagon for the “nostalgia”
👏👏👏You’re right! There’s nothing new here
How are you feeling about the drone conspiracy people using purse names like “Dior bag” instead of saying drones on the internet?
I'd love to have many items of this collection. But i don't have money for luxury items.
I love when brands relaunch great successes. Perfume, nail polish. Even if the art work is the same , many people would like to have now what they couldn't have in the past. However the price is too much . They are allienating their potential customers.
I really wanted to get white cotton cherry print scarf (from 20 years ago ) and I ordered it on vestiare and the girl just never sent it 💔 🍒 I wanted to wear it as a top for my bday commin up
Zendaya looks cute as hell in the campaign tho 🩵💜💙💛🩷🤍
@@baby.nay. yaaasss she does!! She looks amazing 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️💗💗💗
I agree! Sad nothing was new design wise….
spot on - I had never looked at it like that - they really haven't progressed at all since the last collab.... they never bothered to think about an evolution for the collab at all..... and the hype and FOMO are definitely there... I have seen so many LVxTM unboxings that I literally want to throw up.....specifically the influencers who have gotten their hands on a number of pieces.....this greed and never ending over consumption has gotten so out of hand.....
