Remember this song was in the trailer for Detective Pikachu, too? Perhaps this song should end up associated with every Nintendo-based film from now on
Can anyone help pinpoint exactly what's different about the movie version vs. the regular album version from 1984? I saw "Super Mario Bros" in the theatre yesterday with a friend, and when this song played I turned to him and whispered "is this a cover? or really Bonnie Tyler's original vocals?" because its audio sounded SO different from the LP Version 39 years ago. I noticed in the ending credits that someone named "Harvey Mason Jr" is given credit for Additional Production on "Holding Out For A Hero" and I think there were some additional vocalists listed in the ending crawl too. So did they what, just remaster the song from the original multi-stems and/or add new vocals? I'm dying to know!
People talking about this song used in Shrek 2 and other movies. I remember this song for being beautifully combined with the trailer for the Dragon Quest Hero in Smash Ultimate.
Now this song fits Mario n Luigi! The 80’s best era of music. Sadly the song almost got ruined by the He-Man 🚮 remake. But Mario n Luigi saved the day! My kids loved it and so did I!…
Mario managed to save his brother Luigi and save Kingdom of Mushroom even he didn't like it. Mario along his brother Luigi really saved the Day from Brower Evil plan

True, maybe specifically them running up the chain. But the soundtrack they made for DK and Mario kicking ass was just so fucking good. Pardon my language.
