Bali's economic growth rate is insane especially with the amount of foreign investment from Russia and other Westerners going there to make their dollars go further. I just wonder how Bali is going to handle the growth without seeing a huge increase in natives possibly ending up in extreme levels of poverty. Whether or not people like these conversations isn't the problem it's something the government will be thinking about.
With all that money that he is putting into the actual house why didn’t he buy more land around it? The neighbouring buildings are right next to him! I thought everyone knows that you must buy the land around to prevent any surprises later coming up right next to you.

Sometjinh about this just doesn’t sit right with me… it’s all beyond beautiful, of course, and I admire how far you have gone with you channel and brand!!! I just wish there was more in these construction videos that honors the place the house is being built. All the biggest paying jobs on site are being given to foreigners, no one seems to speak the native language, idk… as per Rubys words, it seems this is a place to hide away in your own little peace of heaven, away from the country and people that welcomed you into their ancestral land. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism and not just plain criticism. Because either think many more other things could be done to pay respect to the Balinese people, even at the stage the house is now, and in general the LostLeBlanc project. It seems you’re there to stay, so I hope you think about this not only in terms of your mansion construction, but also your businesses and the other foreigners you mentor.
to be fair, bali appears to have transitioned to a place to invest in, and bali is pleased to welcome his youtube money into their country. dubai on the other hand, has welcomed them into their ancestorial land by granting tax free residency. in other words, his money will stay in bali while he stays in dubai, visiting his money in bali every four to six months
Why in hell would anyone build a house on someone else's land when you can just rent. That will forever be a depreciating asset. Can someone explain the logic.
I hope it was worth all the effort. Seems kinda insane to spend that much time & energy building a dream home. Overkill. I guess that's what wealth does to people. Makes them do insane projects lol sigh
@angelasegun4369 never. At age 59, I've lived a very simplistic lifestyle. I've lived here in my house in Sydney, Australia, that my father & I built for 27 years and the design is very simplistic. I haven't done any renovations since it was built in 1996 because of its simplistic design. There's no need for renovations. I don't live for material values OR to impress others. I prefer a life in the quiet spot light away from all the drama. I'm not saying it's not OK to build a dream home, BUT when u keep changing things & ripping out ceilings to start again & creating Labor for men to carry very large heavy rocks, trees & stone walls, that's fucking ridiculous. Christian would never do that kind of labour, but he's probably paying them minimum wage to do it, sigh. Also, look at the simplicity of how his neighbours are building their homes & building faster. Christian is just a drama queen who is trying to impress everyone with his white privileged lifestyle, but in fact, he's actually embarrassing himself because of all the mistakes & how long the project is taking. It's already 4 months overdue & obviously won't be finished before Xmas. People who acquire wealth from social media & digital marketing often have no respect for how they treat others. He is using manual labour at minimum wage because u could only do that in South East Asia. He wouldn't be able to do that in Canada or where I live in Australia because it would make him bankrupt. That's why these white privileged wankers go to places like Bali to take advantage of the cheap Labor & cheaper lifestyle.
You might be the kind of person loving more the nature than the buzzing cities . I think some how, all we are , only the fact the cities offers better jobs and creates the illusion of a better life, more conform,
because it's surrounded by trees doesn't make it well connected to nature. this villa is the exact opposite of well connected to nature. they have been all over europe shopping for this build, importing stone for walls, sinks, faucets, light fixtures, furniture creating a massive carbon footprint especially after including the flights for the shopping trips, then flying to bali to change everything every 4 to 6 months. he bought land that was subdivided for profit, which disconnects nature, and once he started building, so did everyone else around him, removing nature and building walls of concrete. the exact opposite of well connected to the nature.

When he originally said how long he thought it would take I'm like aye I'd add 12 months to that. That's how it always goes. He's luckily though it seems like weather isn't the thing that's impeded him the most.
Xmas 2026! This is Indo!
due to the fact that not a single tree had to be cut down I love this idea :)
You should have bought the neighbouring lots, lol
He can’t buy land in Indonesia, he can only lease land off of the indigenous people. So the land owners leased the other parcels of their land to other builders
Why didn’t he lease the land at the same time?
@@juvi999 he already mention it in the videos, before the construction was began he don't think other people will build in near the villas, but he's wrong, and you cannot lease another land that already bought by others
Why did you order a hard wooden deck? Now there are tiles with wood pattern which are much better for outdoors since they can stand the weather without any problem. They cut many tree's for your deck.
re-used old wood
Sounds like a money pit
The incompetence and corruption that runs through this administration are getting more ridiculous. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserved. Thank you Arleth Toledo, imagine investing $1000 and receiving $4,300 in a few days🇺🇸
Arleth's success story is everywhere no doubt. Got a chance to benefit from the service few weeks ago and it has been a massive return.
Investing is more better than saving, when you invest rightly, it helps you bring more money in the nearest future.
Please how can I reach her??🙏🏻🙏🏻
SHE MOSTLY INTERACT ON TELEGRAM!

I admire your hustle.
A place that you can definitely be proud of. Very happy for you my friend
Wow...a very nice place is make you like in holiday everytime. Mind blowing place to stay is like a 5 stars hotel
Beautiful project and loved your eye for details....wondering if this is a reach but mind sharing some of your suppliers architect and contractors? Going to start to build in ungassan
wow that merbau door! what a piece of art!
merbau wood are strong good. but it's very hard to dry the wood sap. it's stained when leaking.rare to use because avoid wood sap stain floor.for outdoor use, avoid getting wet/rain
How come you able to build villa in bali? Thats illegal for a foreigner..Im gonna figure this out
ulin (iron wood). it's a rare and expensive now. 15 years ago here in kalimantan (borneo). I saw it much in the jungle. but nowadays.so many people doing illegal logging.
Hey man, do your guys have a system in place to avoid mold development during construction? 😊🙏🏽🌿
When the lost Villa is completely finish and you finally can live in it.. you should give lots of bonus for all the workers 😅.. they deserve it 👍🏻🤍
Ulin adalah kayu paling mahal diindonesia, dengan tingkat kekerasan mencapai puluhan tahun bahkan ratusan tahun kuatnya
Let’s gooo 🙌🏻
Looks beautiful. With Indonesia being part of the Ring of Fire, I would worry about an earthquake cracking those rock walls and rare stone slabs from around the world. I would imagine many of those would be impossible to find exact matches later on, requiring replacement of the entire surface in some instances.
100% A major quake in Bali is inevitable.
catastrophic quakes only happen once in 200 years, even then, not every region experiences it. indonesia is a big place you know, it's not as small as germany, spain or france.
@@wawanhermawan-sz7gl Catastrophic does not mean above 8 on the Richter scale. Should any of the +5 quakes that happen daily in Indonesia hit any city, that would be a catastrophic event, because of current construction "methods". 200 years ago, buildings were mostly wooden, LOL! Earthquakes don't kill, it's the falling buildings that kill.
The tradies in Bali are not good.
I would rate their work from what I have seen as rough and ready.
why not put a bamboo tree to block the neighbor and layer it with other typical forest tree, to make it more jungle on it, after that you put can put the pandan tree. but overall the villa looks gorgeous, congrat
Snakes love bamboo
Quick tip for Anton: Wear a shirt that's suitable for tropical climates 😅
Two videos in one day from Christian? It’s like Christmas morning! Please don’t stop making these videos. My husband and I live for these on Saturday mornings. 🙌
lol
Wowww . Must be great to have such loyal subscribers 🥰
he's a disgusting human being
You got this bro This house is really cool seriously.
Great Video..
Question.
Is this your house or you and ruby's house? Seeing yall arent married does she have tangible investments in these villas?
yes, she uses them for insta stories and a quiet space to shoot her only fans.
@@MyMotherWasaNinja what the f@ck are you talking about? his parents live in canada
Balinese people are unmatched!
Looks like its going to be one of a kind! looks perfect.
Looks like you got some Russian neighbours there kid. Canggu is little Russia now. What a tip. There goes the neighbourhood.
The new Lost Construction Company videos are going to be epic!
I thought everyone knows that you must buy the land around to prevent any surprises later coming up right next to you.
he pretends to be in the wilds but it's a suburban block with houses on every side, and probably a bus at the door.
@@peteiovene9177 His neighbors got the elevated level blocks and he got this sloping hillside land that nobody wanted
Wow, the lost villa even if you had some setbacks is looking fabulous. Been to Bali in 2000
and love the culture. Stayed in individual bagolos so exciting and naturally setup. Visited the valcano so mystical site, stop at roadside store and bought items for my new home belonging to my parents 2nd home due to divorce procedure and had to sale my lovely home out is a prvt lot away from other homes behind a populat family restaurant known by the US military on island that had great onion rings and steaks with other dishes battered fried chicken and shrimp, yummy ! Near a cliffline West of the island with a tourist Marbo Cave about a 100step down to a ocean pool cave and a awesome golf coures that is 19 holes but one site hits golf balls across the ocean next hole to aim at. I'm no golfer but my X was, I'd just drive the buggy to explore the unbelievable golf course & its amenities on the course. Missing tropical weather and its beauty to travel around Asia that was my back door vacations spots to Philipiness, Hongkong, Sinapore, Korea, Tawian etc ...
what's a valcano? sorry, don't want to assume you're just dumb cuz you meant volcano. so what's a valcano?
Absolutely unreal. Love these videos
The Landscaping Etc Etc is Epic! .. Goodbye Neighbours .. Hello Tropical Rainforest 🌸🌺🧚🏽♂️🕸️🦋🦉🌳🌴🍀🍄🌈
if you want to live in a waterpark, it's tolerable. but the landscape itself, dreadful, a huge fail. don't hate, i'm a landscaper.
You not only building a resort villa for businesses you are building ur own home. Ofcourse you gonna take extra step for this project.
his home is in dubai. he's building a high end luxury rental he'll stay in 2 weeks a year. and he just bought more property in the carribean, that'll be his next, i must live here, shanty, that's over designed, not practical, not indigenous, that just got listed on vrbo for 1200.00 a night.
He is rich i guess
Im wondering if some kind of creature can get inside home using the hole for the tree in the roof.
@@peteiovene9177I live here in Bali in a jungle like area and my home is already full with animals even without a hole in the roof...🤣
Thanks for the contacts and ideas. Will definitely reach out to some of those when our project is on its way
Beautiful project and loved your eye for details....wondering if this is a reach but mind sharing some of your suppliers architect and contractors? Going to start to build in ungassan
Anton the heroes
Matt you should have hired an experienced construction project manager.
wonder how it would look without the color grading
Is pool a must for villa? Just curious. All high value mansion/villa always has pool in it. Is it bad to not have pool?
Absolutely 💯
think luxury rental, think vacation, think airbnb. how is it sitting now?
Balinese are originally from Java. It is not their ancestral land, LOL
he is "hiding away" on a suburban block with neighboring houses all around him. Just clever camera angles.
to be fair, bali appears to have transitioned to a place to invest in, and bali is pleased to welcome his youtube money into their country. dubai on the other hand, has welcomed them into their ancestorial land by granting tax free residency. in other words, his money will stay in bali while he stays in dubai, visiting his money in bali every four to six months
Why in hell would anyone build a house on someone else's land when you can just rent. That will forever be a depreciating asset. Can someone explain the logic.
Is the house finished ?
I hope it was worth all the effort. Seems kinda insane to spend that much time & energy building a dream home. Overkill. I guess that's what wealth does to people. Makes them do insane projects lol sigh
I bet you'd do the same in his shoes, insane projects I mean 🙄
If you can build right up to your property line, so can your neighbor.
Yes 😂
Bali is wall to wall living. Unless you are on a cliff, any nature is temporary
I'm sure that your villa is gonna be an icon.I really love how it well connected to the nature.
Fantastic !! Thanks for sharing.
Very cheap materials. But it will look amazing on instagram
Looks great 👏
You're not only building a villa, but a masterpiece of handcrafted art. However using timber for roof, is that sound outdated for now, no?
anton's intro was sick😂
yep i saw you a year ago , looked like too biggger job for a firsty, kinda ripping the guts out of raw matierials but good for you enjoy all the maintenance and living with ripping the shit out of old growth timber
MasyaAllah vilanya mewah berkelas banget wow
How do you build your own home do you have a HGB
OHMYGOSH!Your dog looks exactly like mine! First time on this channel, but wonder what breed he or she is? Mine is a Formosan Mountain Dog, native from Taiwan. So adorable!!!!
I think because you build that in bali. Its look god if you add little temple in front of your house.
