Price issue. Lmao 😂 you mean an investor issue because back in the day Hasbro didn’t squeeze out the kids and consumers with these outrageous price hikes. And in Great Britain they sued them for 12 million for price rigging. You know they charge 3 to 6 times the price. You look at the competition and see vehicles they make and in some cases even better for 1/3 the cost. And then we know a sky striker should have only been $50 but with all the extra figures at $20 a figure the price point goes way up. So maybe they charged $25 a figure to get to the price point of $230 and then they charge around $400 for Canadians when before we used to pay the same prices back on the 1980s and 1990s. For vehicles and action figures. Now a figure like the two pack cost about $45 per figure so one two pack equals $90 with the shipping. And 2 two packs was $160 I think. So that 4 action figures for $160. Hasbro is a shameful shell of what they once were and how they just outright rip off the consumers now. So not impressed with Hasbro. So pathetic how the just ruin the toy industry for collectors kids and consumers.
You make a lot of great points. I do agree that Hasbro is not what it used to be to be. At the DFW Toy Show this past summer, it was so sad listening to the Hasbro legends talk about the good old times at Hasbro but then how it changed dramatically over time until eventually they left or were let go.
