Great concept! To improve, I would add a rule saying that you must use a drive/tee shot from each player on the team. When playing three holes with three players on each team, this would give the imposter a better chance of having impact on the score if they know that their drive will be used at some point. Even if you extended to more holes, you could simply split it such that the picked tee shots are evenly distributed between the team members.

The good good version of this works well. You just do a scramble with everyone and it’s a worst ball scramble. If you finish below a certain score and don’t get the imposter they win if you get the imposter you win
