I think playing worst ball would make this concept way more entertaining and give the imposter a chance of sabotage
Worst shot would be impossible for this group to film, way too many lost balls. Maybe like medium shot?

The concept doesn't work if they always just take the best ball. No matter what the imposter does, it doesn't affect the game at all as long as one of their two teammates does well and they take the best ball.
They should spin a wheel or something to decide which ball they take
Not necessarily, all it takes is one bad round for the premise too look like it's in the impostors favour.
They should take the worst ball. That way if they keep shanking shots then the it doesn’t matter what the teammates do. But they also have to hit good ones to throw off sus

6 man worst ball scramble. If a specific score is reached over 3 holes imposter wins. If they stay under that set score crewmates win

The good good version of this works well. You just do a scramble with everyone and it’s a worst ball scramble. If you finish below a certain score and don’t get the imposter they win if you get the imposter you win
