I'm someone who cries easily, but I think that I've never cried this much for a movie... the last scene broke my heart, I felt so powerless inside... I knew how it was going to end but yet I felt so much pain...
I did a play on this about a month ago and I was Margot Frank and when we were taking bows they played this song and we were supposed to be neutral and not smile but I started sobbing and the director was sobbing and we all sobbed on stage and the audience sobbed. Does this song make anyone else just start crying.
I was in London for the 75th Anniversary and had to stay home from college a day later since Mary told me I didn’t look normal so she decided a day off
Now 3 years later, i got to say goodbye to Mary before she left. Everyone in college found the hug between me and Mary heart wrenching and I was wearing my Anne Frank thing she made me on my wrist that day
It was made with this purpose. We need to cry and promise to the unverse we will never accept any kind of prejudice. May humanity learn it someday. Anne registered it for us to remember. May it never happen again.
this is absolutely a beautiful piece! it tells you where music is made for, to touch your heart in a way nothing could touch it. music is a language, a language that you can understand in your feelings. it tells you a story. this one of anne frank. you feel the pain they had.
La musique est belle mais tellement triste j ai vu ce film en 2008 et je le retrouve maintenant la fin du film lorsqu ils descendent les escaliers donne les larmes aux yeux
Her dream is fulfilled. She lives on even after her death 77 years ago. RIP Anne and your fellow occupants of the Secret Annex and those who helped you too.
For me, it’s not just the story of a young Jewish girl hiding from persecution. It’s about the entire oppression of the Jewish people. Anne Frank adds to the absolute innocence of suffering by anti-semitism over hundreds of years.
Mary Chan Hell yes it was absolutely awful what happened in Auschwitz and we will not forget it. I don’t trust Nanny there because I don’t want her acting like an idiot in front of the Holocaust survivors no way
Ever since I was first introduced to this story I've had such fascination with it it feels like I know how she felt it's unbelievable how this happened all because she was Jewish rest in peace to Anne frank and her family and for the rest of the Jews who died 💖
I cried too and I realised falling out with the war wasn’t worth it but I’m still pretty close to the war no matter what arguments we did over the years.
Anne was way way beyond her years. What a tragic loss she was so young, full of hope, dreams that she had yet to accomplish but were tarnished by the stupid nazis. My heart aches for her and her family 😭😭
Seetha Prajna I remember seeing this 6 years ago July 2013, the teacher kept skipping the parts and I was so mad at the time, when I saw this ending I was hiding under the table because of the Germans
I came here directly from watching a documentary on the Manson family and the Sharon Tate murder and I just can't for the life of me understand how one human being can inflict harm on another human being. It's just unfathomable how certain people behave like animals.
i miss words of pray here (35 minute in the movie). i think they were really absolutely beautiful there. thank you for this theme - i was lookign for it
Julia Reider on Amazon music I cannot find it, but since I got data and can’t go over, I can watch this anywhere anytime if the Holocaust ever gets in the way
I finished reading Anne frank's diary a week ago but still, I feel so sad about Anne Frank and her family. I came here to listen to this music because I want to think about the whole story I want to do something with my sadness. Rest in peace, Anne Frank.
When I saw Star Wars Rogue One I thought the actress playing Jyn Erso looked familiar. Turns out it was the same actress who played Margot Frank Anne's sister. Felicity Jones. It made me think of this sad ending scene.
I watched, and i listened,I learnt, but still can't find the words to express how I feel of this unimaginable horror in history, only to say thank you each day that I draw a breath, and am free.
Gabriel Morales After the last months of the war, nothing was there all gone apart from Anne’s diary there for memories of her. Otto Frank publishes it in 1957 10 years after the war was over. I can’t stand some of my family right now loved them until now but not anymore
And I don't see why it is the dairy of Anne Frank. Like yes it was her physical dairy but it was about them all so couldn't the movie be called The Frank's And Suffers or something like that
I watch this movie in the High School when I was learning about Anne Frank and at the end where all of the Jews are being led away one by one end titles reveal each of their fates. In the final scene, Miep finds Anne's notebooks scattered across the floor and reaches down to pick them up. I wish I could do a mix Cartoon and Anime movie style Gwen Tennyson (Ben 10 Alien Force and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien) as Anne Frank
In Poland, where I come from, lived a girl - Anna's peer - Rutka Laskier, who also wrote a diary during World War II. Rutka was Jewish, so she and her family ended up in the Będzin ghetto. She perished in Auschwitz in 1943. Although Anne Frank inspired me to keep a journal, Rutka Laskier gave me the main reason - to leave something that will survive even after my death.
Me rompió el corazón cuando se está poniendo los zapatos con las manos temblorosas, y el dentista le ayuda a amarrárselos, una vez que los nazis los encuentran. Madre mía...
When I was in lockdown I watched this film and another Anne Frank film on YT and I remember In lockdown moaning I couldn’t go out to see my family or do anything, until I watched this movie and I realized Anne was incredible and not only that but she was terrified in two years in hiding in fear of being discovered and sent to her death. Such a beautiful piece and suits Anne’s story very much. Rip Anne and everyone else who lost their lives in the Holocaust ❤
I just watched the movie. Of course I think that the situation they had to live is atrocious, but I thought Anne was a sweet girl, or at least she seemed to be that way, but she was a complete bitter rude girl. I feel bad for the rest of the family because they had to endure her inside those walls...
I wasn't familiar with Anne Frank and her story, until I visited Amsterdam 3 years ago and toured her old home there. It was very emotional for me after learning what happened.

I was stressed all January
I was in London for the 75th Anniversary and had to stay home from college a day later since Mary told me I didn’t look normal so she decided a day off

The scene where they're all walking down the stairs is so sad : (

Hope to visit Auschwitz-Berkinau in 2020

This has to be my favorite Anne Frank movie. So beautifully done
it's not just anne, if they wouldn't have found her diary she would've been one of thousand. It's so horrible what happend back then

I have finished all the episodes of this version of the daily of anne frank. It is really good and i was moved by mrs van dan's chatter
I’ve read the diary and seen multiple movies about her. Part of me always hopes it will turn out differently. It never does, naturally.
When I saw Star Wars Rogue One I thought the actress playing Jyn Erso looked familiar. Turns out it was the same actress who played Margot Frank Anne's sister. Felicity Jones. It made me think of this sad ending scene.
