I'm kind of surprised Rhett wouldn't try the tahini and brownie batter combo. He's usually a pretty adventurous eater, and sesame is nutty like peanut butter. Also it's pretty common to use sesame in desserts in a lot of places around the world. In fact, here in the US an old, traditional sweet treat in Charleston, SC is the benne wafer, which is made with sesame seeds and sugar. And let me tell you, they are ADDICTING!

It's kind of a unique episode in the sense that it doesn't feel like typical GMM, this episode feels like it's just two friends spending time together on film. Has a bit more of a GMMore vibe to it as well
I feel like crunchy is not an accurate description, yet can't think of a better word for it either. Halva has such a particular texture and I've never been able to describe it adequately! But yes the flavour combo makes sense for sure.
Chocolate and tahini is awesome- it’s called marbled chocolate halvah when it has sugar in it. I bet that tasted fantastic. Halvah is one of the best things ever.

Rhett should've listened to Link and tried the brownie batter with some Tahini. Tahini is the main ingredient in a dessert in Lebanon and other Arab countries called Halawa. There is a version of that dessert called chocolate Halawa which has a similar flavor profile to Link's little concoction.
Link amazed me when he poured the tihini over the brownie batter because where Im from (Iraq) we mix tihini with sweet date syrup! And link did the same thing pretty much!!!
I'm a huge fan of dipping regular potato chips in peanut butter. Ruffles or Kettle Chips are my go to. I also like dipping Cheetos in peanut butter. It reminds me of those Keebler cheese cracker w/ peanut butter sandwiches you find at gas stations and convenience stores.
I don't know that I've ever tried anything like Ruffles, but I eat peanut butter and tortilla chips a lot. So good. My husband always acts like I'm crazy when I do it, but it makes perfect sense to me. Like a crunchy peanut butter sandwich.

As a person who has eaten tahini all his life, I can say that I’ve never used it as a dip. It’s very strong in its original form and always has to be diluted to give a good taste. It’s like a liquid spice.

What if the next best thing for chips and salsa. Comes from the chips side and not the salsa side? On a side note buttercream is the best thing alternate with tortilla chips. Because it tastes like kettle corn.
I really wish I could’ve given some recommendations before this. I have been dipping tortilla chips in Oikos triple zero yogurt, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry fluff for years because it is almost superior to chips and salsa.

Was that a dill type relish or sweet type? I've done the same thing with plain potato chips/crisps and can't decide between a few, the salty crunch of a chip, potato or corn, goes well with many things. Great video, good job ya'll.

On a side note buttercream is the best thing alternate with tortilla chips. Because it tastes like kettle corn.

I really wish I could’ve given some recommendations before this. I have been dipping tortilla chips in Oikos triple zero yogurt, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry fluff for years because it is almost superior to chips and salsa.
I like the hint of lime tortilla chips with vanilla yogurt. Glad I'm not a weirdo for liking tortilla chips with yogurt.

I love having tortilla chips with hummus. Really yummy, and french fries with hummus is awesome.
