I invested in a few of the rugged cases and now they don't even keep the OD Green in stock. Guessing this company is not going to be around for much longer if they don't even keep up with their original products.
Is this just a licensed Gazelle T4 reproduction with the ROAM logo on it? It's identical in floor dimensions, height, shape, door and window shapes, everything. Perhaps it's more rugged materials but they both say polyester rip stop. This appears to be just a Gazelle that costs 25% more money. The only distinguishing feature I can see is the passthrough for a diesel heater.
Looks like $499 vs $439. Both include "rugged stakes" (even though the Roam website makes fun of plastic top stakes, like the Gazelle overland), footprint and waterproof storage. That's release pricing from Roam. Seems to be equal, except for the heater hole. Not sure if the Gazelle stores the rain fly poles in the same manner. I'm not sure where you get 25%. I would compare this to the "Overland" edition from Gazelle given the extras which makes them pretty close.
@@klimraamkosie the gazelle overland edition is $388 in orange currently unless you absolutely need a green colored one for $439. I paid $350 during a sale. Either way, why pay $60 more?
I'm sure in that case the Gazelle is a reproduction as well. I have found most camping products these days follow 3-4 premade designs and just slap their name on it.
Love the edit where he cut out the 25 minutes of struggle and cussing getting that last rainfly tab done :-)
Will there ever be a 2-3 person version of this? I'd love to get this but a 4-5 person tent for myself is a bit over the top.
Any recommendations for a good heater for the heater slot built in?

is the floor removable? I don't like the removable floor in Gazelle, which creates opportunity for leak and bug intrusion
Are the zippers YKK?
Website claims 30 second set up and tear down. Quite misleading. It ain’t no decathlon.

Only downfall is it's Black. Not good for summer
