Hi Alicia, dear fellow teacher and planner ❤ Good prompts as always! Often I think about those while walking. Another thing we have in common, I also like Mel’s videos. (Sometimes they are annoying because she makes me really do things and that can be hard.) What do you think about the fact that our mind can’t distinguish between if we want or don’t want a thing we write down, I recently read that. So if you write down: don’t eat chocolate, your mind won’t understand the part “don’t” and just notes that chocolate has to be eaten.

Yesss I’ve heard that about the mind not registering the “don’t,” like "don't think about French fries" and then all you can think of is fries.😂 It's better to phrase our goals more positively, like “choose healthier snacks,” instead of focusing on what not to do. But that feels so broad and not forceful enough, ya know? (I was raised on negative reinforcement, lots of NO's lol) I like that you reflect on the prompts while walking! 📝 And yes, something about Mel's voice and the way she punches you in the feelings, I'll do whatever she says!!
@@AleciaLott you’re right, we’re all raised the wrong way, we should have gotten unconditional love from all adults around us, but we can still learn to love ourselves unconditionally and develop a positive, energising, useful, powerful mindset, while being in the moment, because there’s actually nothing else than the now (I also watch Eckart Tolle).
