(the j in Portuguese is pronounced like "jar") great interview with Steve, what a humble and thoughtful guy
Can you ask the-MMA-bosses to book 265plus division with Jerrell Miller, Mijain Lopez, Hafthor Bjornsson, Brian Shaw, Hong Man Choi, etc.
He's not lucky. Flyweight is just trash. Always has been.
Flyweight is so trash that Dana himself even wanted to get rid of it. He traded his flyweight champion Demetrion Johnson for Ben Askren. That's how much Dana cared about the flyweight division.
Ok well there's not that many guys in the world that are walking around at like 135-145 max, so obviously the talent pool to select from is gonna be thinner than the higher divisions. But there still are some skilled guys, they're not ALL trash
Yeah nobody is going to know who he is if he wins. Most unknown champ. He needs to pop off and start attacking everyone and saying women shouldn't vote.
