I love when they provide details of things that occur behind the scenes of music like the interviews: Muni Long, Kosine, and Letoya Luckette (the ex-DC member that Tank was head over heels for after meeting at filming ‘The Preacher’s Kid” and of course before he married Zena)

Wow this was a fantastic interview, we were well and truly schooled, you know your being taught knowledge, when you hear technical terms that you have to go and do the research to find out what they mean. The Avila brothers were so generous with their life story to date that they could make a brilliant movie off their life's and turn it into TV it would be action packed and reverting. Let's be honest R&B Money has a canon of valuable information that must be treated with respect. We should expect that R&B money should win Podcast of the year and in other categories too..This is a classic epic episode. The super production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis come out of this episode looking absolutely wonderful. Plus the beautiful quality that the duo Tank and J Valentine bring as host are incredible, especially with the questions input and support of their guest making the lovely brothers in this episode so comfortable that they were free to tell us of their important successful journey.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

My TOP interview! I only wish they had slowed down when discussing artists & songs they wrote and produced. I had to pause often, open a tab, and research their credits. I hope their father was finally able to see their successes. They were correct about Prince basically being The Time. Prince's thumbprint is in everything he wrote & produced through Paisley Park productions. He played the instruments and in many cases, he was the group (i.e. Madhouse). Prince was the prototype. There will never be another!

Thank you Tank and J for all that you have and continue to do for RB music. I think I may have a new crush.....J. Valentine. LOL! I look forward to new music and tours.

I L❤VE them for mentioning Phillipe Wynne! I always thought he was a phenomenal singer and after he left the Spinners, I thought his voice would fling him into the stratosphere as a solo artist ...but before you knew it, sadly, he was gone. But what a great singer and talent. I loved his passion When he was on stage and he left such an impression on me at a very young age.. you gotta wonderful collection of albums in your crate if you're mentioning Phillipe.. God bless you for acknowledging him❤

I’m from Rialto and I have mutual friends with the Avila Brothers. Bobby used to come and sing from time to time at church. Great interview. Way to represent the Rialto and the IE!
