9:20 in the bottom left it shows what direction you are facing. Get the first number to 0, 90, 180, or 270 exactly, then start moving with the paint tool. It will give you a straight line.
Looks like you did it on 0
In fs19 that brown thing is the only field on the map
I have over 1k mods! I couldn't imagine going into a save with less than 10 mods 😂

For creating fields there is a field painting tool you could use next time. It comes with the no man's land map.
