I mean I'm all for gear compatibility, but litereally bolting a UNIVERSAL steering wheel rim to a quick release is such an anti-climatic result with a click bait title. I mean most steering wheels rims with that probably 70mm bolt pattern will fit onto a moza quick release with the same bolt pattern. The surprise you guys have that it worked or even questioned that this would work is either really bad acting or purposeful satire.
Sim Racing Machines make fantastic adapters. They've been beating fanatec compatibility issues for many years. Great company!

@@Kireth yup looks like it. Probably says SRM somewhere on it. I used one years ago to use the mclaren gt3 wheel on my accuforce v2. Converted it to direct usb input as well so all buttons and functions worked perfectly!
If you get the moza bundle with the v2 wheel, you can actually just remove the buttons connected to the rim with the 6 screws and attach it to the fanatec wheel. The 6 screw pattern is universal for aftermarket racing wheels. I wish everyone would go to it.
I am curious going the other way. Since I have a Fanatec base with QR2 and would want to use the GT wheel from Moza.
Also, with the universal Moza hub, all the buttons should work, but not 100% sure which adapter I would use to do this. I assume it would be a QR2 wheel side, then ... where from there ??
The universal hub only works with the FSR, KS and TSW wheels. The older wheels don’t have a port on the back to connect it to the hub. They are proprietary bluetooth to Moza bases only.
That’s pretty chill besides losing button functionality! Now u gotta do one with a moza wheel on a Fanatec base!
That should work as *some* Moza wheels have a USB connector with a coiled cable. Needs the hub though. But not sure how to pair a QR2 with a Moza wheel.
Im just here for the look at the NASCAR wheel, as a oval racer i wouldn't mind one
Try the moza r3 wheel on like the r9 or r12 and see if its possible to make it xbox capable
I am wondering from a PS5 console perspective have you heard of any other brands that could be compatible in future like asetek hinted 2 years ago. Any brands I should follow really want to get away from Fanatec however cannot afford a gaming pc.

The Fanatec is a standard 70mm PCD wheel, you can literally bolt any 70mm PCD wheel to that.
This is not real "compatibility", ashame you made the title more of a click bait.
People were expecting if you had made a Fanatec button box work with a Moza wheel base.😊
