Over time, EU4 has become way more complicated a game, but in a way I like. You can be successful in it without having to leverage every system and because of that people develop their own styles. Does that make any sense? I don't know exactly how that can apply to a series like this, but it is both interesting to see games like the Russia one to figure out where the lack of income is and learn, but also like the Roman or Mughal ones to see which systems the more experienced players prioritize.
I'm the Roman Empire guy, thanks for the tips and feedback. I used the papal blessings, but at the end I didn't really need them anymore. I actually use a lot of your tips in my games, so thanks for those.
In the end game after the campaign has ended, you can get into the menus if you go "Show timeline". You'll be able to get to the menus- Even if the timeline is at beginning, it'll show you how things are in the game at the end. And to get to how map looks, you can speed through the timeline. You won't be able to see the trade setup on map and armies but it's better than nothing

Mughal one big minus, deccan annexation should be instant, full core all they will be released with before clicking mission & then get rid of them instantly 10 yrs later. :)
also a bit weird that the name of the countries switch from german to english (Moskau for example becomes Russia instead of Russland, if it were to stay german in the timelaps).
Love these videos! They are my favorite to be honest. Did a mughal WC in 1.34. I had around 12 k dev at 1700 which is more or less where he is at. It was still a pain in the ass, but got it done in 1763 I believe. So I think that it would be really hard for him to do a world conquest with only 6,6k at that point. Worst part was that the new world nations started breaking free as the european powers got weaker because I started conquering them lol, which means I had to spend maybe 15-20 years extra in the new world conquering the new world nations. So you need to factor that in as well, when planning your world conquest, because you may be unlucky as I was.

6:55 one of the final tier gov reforms for monarchies gives +2.5 admin efficiency and +10 max effect of absolutism. Max effect of absolutism lets you go over 100 absolutism up to that amount, so it's pretty common to try and have 110 max now. edit: nvm, gov reform is just maximum absolutism, not max effect. I distinctly remember it being max effect so it might have been changed in 1.36 or I could just be crazy lul. There are still other sources of max effect available however.
Yeah it used to be +2.5 admin efficiency and +15 max effect of absolutism in 1.35. But they changed it to +10 max absolutism instead of +15 max effect of absolutism in 1.36.
If someone thinks cav isnt good they should play an aq quyonlu game, the ability to get 35% cav combat early is what allows you to punch so far above your weight in the anatolia region, plus they have a cool mission tree.
Looking at the thumbnail I thought it was mine Roman Empire run since it was very similar. I only did it as byz with slightly better borders but less income.
Basically, you should always built your army stack to full combat width, but never keep them in one big stack, because attrition will kill you. also droping cavalry in Age of Absolutism, unless you have bonuses to combat ability.

I do hqve photos of almost every screen and almost everything important so i could send those if u want to but i doubt you would consider doing the save given the next saves are supposed to be 1.36. My apologies for not checking save before sending
The vassal play isn't just about core speed. It's about also being able to divide your mana between admin/dip for coring/annexing. You are able to double dip in coring by using subjects as well. Especially since diplo tech falls off pretty hard in WC games.

I'd like to give some constructive feed back I notice you use the word obviously a lot in my family we are quite strongly against the use of this word as.... “Obviously” is a purely destructive word. It's commonly used when a new concept or idea is being built of pre-existing notions. As a teacher, these prerequisites for understanding might seem simple and, well, obvious. -source Google As a newer player I would feel so overwhelmed watching this video thinking there is a lot I don't know that maybe I should take note of. Again I'm not sure the target audience is for new players but here is my feedback all the same. Keep up the great work loving the videos!
Why do you want to build marketplaces... trade power is worthless if you are the only one in a node and own 99% anyway. If anything you would delete all marketplaces (outside of trade company provinces and contested nodes) because you NEED building slots to get manufacturies and other actually useful buildings. Every trade building he builds now is a waste of his no yet infinite money. Especially when you look at the manpower issues I'm talking about the Mughal campaign.

I think that, aristocratic was chosen because of the unjustified demands reduction, so you can take more land and not pay many diplo points.
Honestly I really like the idea group. The 1 extra point in general siege ability is really good as well.

@jruss609 he took influence+aristocratic for first 2 ideas. Together they give like -75% or -100% unjustified demands. It saves a ton of diplo mana.

I think the Roman Empire guy was using Europa Expanded and that’s why you couldn’t see that one gov reform. It would also explain why kabilya exists

One day hawk will explain how a stack is made, every time I can't understand where the problem is
it is baser on combat width, your cav inf ratio (depends on the bonus to either of them)
Basically, you should always built your army stack to full combat width, but never keep them in one big stack, because attrition will kill you. also droping cavalry in Age of Absolutism, unless you have bonuses to combat ability.
Look at combat width and make sure your cav+infantry = combat width

Influence is not really that useful as mughals WC, they core so fast so subject play is not optimal. :)
