Finally, this aged private establishment will soon be taken care of after its closure for over twenty three years. I believe the very first time that I passed by this theatre was way back in 1971 when I was a small kid riding the bus on my way to school toward North Point. Everyday my trip started out from Paterson Street by Kings Road, when the tram passed by Fortress Hill Road, I noticed this theatre with its weird roof top sitting there. For the years to come, I was studying my high school in North Point. Until 1984, my last year in school after the HKCEE exam. Great story!

五十年代我住北角，記得這間戲院，當年簫芳芳的苦兒流浪記，便是在這裡看的，還記得當日憑票送瓶綠寶汽水。主持人把我帶回童年時代了。

首次皇都睇戏，係59年桂河橋，几乎睇唔到。事因偷阿爸4毫子買前座票，后阿爸知，愤而撕毁戏飞，唯揸住烂票，向闸員求情，前座第一排个位係我手上票位，幸而証實，得而入场。
以前四毫子，是否等如現在四十元？
@@siulinglee3498 勾起回忆，祇記得几樣，细支可樂三毫，報纸一毫，總督煙一元，电車票上层二毫，下一毫，照此推算報纸上漲最多，电車票最低。戲票往日分前中后超等，平均一元。照計，往日戯票贵过今日。4毫是否等今四十元？各位討論下。
