Sometimes video ideas just rudely push into my head and refuse to leave. This one did just that. I know this song is somewhat overused, but yesterday it made an appearance when I shuffled my iPod. Then this morning my brain kept playing the same line over and over again with Jay and Erin as the subject. So, I just gave in and made the video. The song certainly fits the Linstead struggles of loving each other but hiding it for their jobs.
Can we talk about the sniper scene? I love Halstead in sniper mode. And the unspoken reference to him having Erin's back yet again was marvelous. What girl wouldn't want a guardian angel in the form of a sniper? For real. It's what dreams are made of...
...As for nightmares? Nadia. Oh dear lord. Nadia. I ADORED her character. I shipped with her with Antonio. I loved her relationship with Platt. I identified with her struggling through a criminology major. I thought her story had a ton of potential. And I'm devastated that they killed her off. That being said, I thought it was brutally honest storytelling. No murder victim is ready to die. They all have unfinished business and relationships and dreams that are cut short. So having Nadia's many storylines and potential blown to bits felt as perfectly devastating as it should have. I hate that she had to be the character to go, but I totally get why they ended it with her demise. And sweet Jesus at least it wasn't Jay or Erin! Plus, the Linstead hug when they found her was everything.
Also, is anyone else loving Mouse? I kind of ship him having a crush on Erin. He's just adorable. Gotta focus on loving him so that I forget that Nadia is GONE. :'(

great Video! omg i haven´t seen the last epi but i can´t believe that with Nadia! i loved her relationship with Erin! :/ but the Scenes with Linstead look so cute. hope they come back together soon!!!

May Luu For sure! I'm a little worried about Erin spiraling after Nadia's death...but hopefully she'll spiral right back to Jay before the season ends.

I love this it's beautiful and just flawless I will forever miss Nadia and I bawl my eyes out every time I have watched the crossover but the crossover was amazing it was fantastic and I totally can see a little crush thing between Erin and Mouse there something there but I want her with Jay.
Jami Atkins Oh, I definitely don't want it to interfere with Linstead. But, a Mouse crush would be really cute. I pondered wanting him with NADIA but then the writers crushed that before it could ever begin.
