Tastefully Modernized Otis Series 2 Hydraulic Elevators at 900 Executive Plaza in Mobile, AL.

Video Recorded on May 23, 2022: I happened to stop at this place right across the street from our hotel we stayed at while on our way to North Carolina, and I wondered if there were anything vintage. Turns out, we have a vintage elevator that is TASTEFULLY MODDED! Anyways, these used to have Otis Lexan fixtures until it got modernized with Series 2 at a later time. Cabs and some of the original fixtures such as the capacity plate and the 70's to 80's Otis sign on the doorsill still remains. Not sure about the door operators, BUT...the motor on the second elevator car we rode was EPIC!!! The first elevator car we rode was a lot quieter. These were the only couple elevators I found as we were tired and needed to get rested so that we could leave down the next day. Installed in 1979, modernized in the 2000's.

That is an awesome mod. I'm glad they still kept the original trombone sounding motor, kinda like the TD Bank Trust building in Toronto, the lobby ones.
