It's strange that this game isn't a more popular speedrun. From a speedrunning standpoint, it's incredibly interesting. The skill required truly has no ceiling.
I completely agree. I hadn't even heard of the game until I was an adult. I think the problem is that it just never reached that many people in the 90s.
And now it's available on Nintendo Switch if you have the online service stuff. Maybe they saw your groove and record and popped that sucker out. Impressive run. Enjoyed playing this as a kid even though I often failed pretty hard at it often haha.
Congratulations! You are the best! 😉💪For the next time, if the ShishKebap warp happens, buy two double strength boosters for planet 12 in order to use the death point. Despite it can be hard at the wormhole section, you can save a lot of time.
Nice job! I have a challenge for you. The old Nintendo Power Super Power Club had challenge cards with challenges/achievements on the back of them. Solar Jetman had a card. The pro challenge was to beat level 10 (Shammy Gem) while continuously thrusting and never letting off the gas. Is it possible?

If I get it again I will definitely go for the death to save time in the last level.
Nice job!
