When she was found out, she murdered Selena. Selena was too trusting because of her religious upbringing as a Jehovah's witness. I was in an abusive marriage when Selena was rising up and becoming such a major star. I wasn't listening to the radio at that time and wasn't paying attention to award shows, concerts in town, etc because I was too busy trying to survive. I would sometimes hear people playing her music and wondered who it was because I really liked it. After I finally got away and was able to get a divorce and live again, I found Selena and immersed myself in her music for about 3 years. I didn't understand what she was saying but her music made me happy and I hadn't been happy in a long, long time. Thank you, Selena. May your beautiful soul continue to touch others as it did mine. RIP always...

This is extremly sad. She was about to become one of the biggest stars, but it got cut short at the age of 23. This beautiful woman wanted to follow her dreams and she did. Selena will always be remembered as the BEST singer in the 20th century. Unfortunately, I cannot say the 21st century because of her sad death in 1995 and that no "new" music voice of hers has not come out in the 21st century because she's the youngest celebrity singer to die. Yes CDs of hers were released in the 21st century (even in 2019 too), but we last heard her actual voice in 1995, weeks or days before her death. I can only listen to her music and voice before her death of March 31st, 1995. I wonder if I'l ever hear the word "Selena" when none of us are alive and that's in the millenium of the year 3000, the 22nd century. We need to follow her example of singing and of that time where she pretty much won or almost all the Grammy's of "And the winner is..."

Im Black, I freaking love her. It was "love at first sight" as I describe it. It’s a shame that her life is over and it ended in such a way, Yolonda is such an asshole in every way. Selena is such a beautiful and sweet person from the inside and out, You can tell by her face that she doesn’t and didn’t want any trouble with anyone. She seemed like such a nice person and it’s sad that such nice people who make this world better than it is die so much. I would give anything for her to live again. I just found out about her Today and she’s just a breath of fresh air. I cried at the fact that a nice and beautiful person like her died and died at the hand of her "best friend", I hate that. Yolanda doesn’t tell the truth either, She’s afraid to admit that she was just being an ass and killed her for no reason. When I die, I’ll be happy I get to see Selena in Heaven with me ❤️

As a kid up to my adulthood, her music would always comfort when I missed my dad. He left back to Mexico when I was very young and I have looked for him ever since. Well this past month I found him after 25 years of searching!! Im here today listening to Selena, crying, laughing , and celebrating that my dream of finding my father has finally come true. And come to find out I have 4 other siblings! nothing but good memories come to mind when I listen to Selena. wish she was still around
