Give Tony Ferguson his payday and retirement fight since he always calls out Conor.
Why should Conor take that fight? Tony has no belt to offer, coming from countless losses and is completely washed up. Everybody knows that. A win against Tony would be totally pointless for Conor. It wouldn't do anything for him.

Agree. Conor has got better cardio than people give him credit for. Everyone looks back to the Diaz fights and says he has no gas tank but that was over 5 years ago, it hasn’t been a problem for him sense then in mma. Chandler gasses out after 1 round and if Conor can survive round 1 and stuff some take downs, he’ll find chandlers chin.

I can see Conor KO'ing Michael Chandler out dead. I can see him brutalizing the Tony Ferguson of the last 3 fights in the first two rounds and coasting for a decision victory. Dariush is hittable. Everyone acts like Beneil became that wrestling Juggernaut bcause he had 3-4 good wins. Beneil was knocked out cold by Barbosa and Hernandez and was also close to getting slept by Klose. He can beat Hooker and he can beat RDA and of course Oliveira. Islam and Justin are not winnable match-ups.

There, Khabib shoots an excelent takedown attempt but if you watch closely thats what Conor was expecting and he attempts to time it with a Knee that misses by an inch. Can Beneil shoot such a good takedown without getting knee'd to the face? Barbosa said no.

@@topwargear I don't think Conor moves on his feet now like he used to. Athletes tend to have faster feet in their 20s and Conor used to rely on that to move in and out. He's reverted away from that karate stance because he's not quite as sharp as he used to be on his feet

What Conor has done in past and what he’s capable of doing now is vastly different. When is the last time that left hand actually rocked someone and put them in danger? The answer is 2016 against Eddie Alvarez. So its been 6 years since that so called left hand has done any significant damage to anyone. The guy in the bar that got sucker punched by Conor didnt even go down so really, dont see him KOn anyone anymore.

Chandler that’s a maybe depends on how invested chandler is on the takedowns. If chandler can wrap his arms around him draw out Conor stamina he stands a chance but it’s all day for Conor on the stand up though chandler has proven he can scrap. As for Justin I don’t think it’s likely. He’d go for his legs and we already know Conor has been exposed for being highly susceptible to leg kicks. I don’t believe surgery and a year off has made him any less prone to the tactic. But both entertaining fights. I think Ferguson really deserves that fight though.

I want to see Conor fight Dan Hooker or Tony Ferguson, Tony we all know why. They also have had history it'd be an amazing fight that sort of needs to happen, why? Well we all remember when Conor was holding the lighweight belt, the fight for Conor was LITERALLY Tony Ferguson, but Conor never defended his belt thus it got vacated. Tony and Conor are both sitting around the same rankings, Conor being ranked 9 (Crazy to say) and Tony being ranked 7, it makes perfect sense all together as to why they should fight. Conor stripped Tony from a title fight and now BOTH men are gunning for the belt again. It's only fitting they now fight.
And Dan Hooker, well I think Conor CAN just simply win that fight, it isn't easy but he can catch Dan which has been displayed cause of how tough Dan is, he doesn't back down from throwing bombs at you. Like Bisping and Anthony said, plays into Conor's wheel house to "Box the bleedin' head" off of you.

Hooker, RDA, Gaethje, Poirier (very close 2nd fight and 3rd doesn't count at all), Dariush, Oliveira, Ferguson, Chandler etc etc. Basically everyone except Islam who would be the worst stylistic March up for him.

What has conor really done since his featherweight run? Okay he beat Eddie Alvarez, but lets be honest, Eddie was a rent-a-champ and 100 percent would have lost to Khabib or prime el Cucuy had he fought them instead. His only other wins are against a washed up cowboy and a decision win against Nate "punching bag" Diaz.
Conor beat up on featherweights because of his long reach. Much like Isreal Adesanya and Jon Jones he utilized his reach advantage perfectly. Conor was also cutting more weight than average featherweights, giving him a size advantage as well. People want to say conor is not hungry anymore, but I say hes always been a Dana fueled hype job. Now that he's fighting people closer to his size and his reach advantage is not there anymore hes getting exposed by real contenders.
