I’ve tried journaling and never maintain it. Part if the reason is that I had different journals for different focus. This year I bought the Writual Planner to have a planner/journal in one book. I also want to being dabbling in astrology as it relates to tarot. I went through all my tarot decks (about 20) and put them all back in order. It reacquainted us. Now, when I do a reading and I;m struggling with a given card, I pull out the same card from another deck to get a new perspective. In a nutshell, I’m structuring my studies this year. Best wishes with your practice and a Happy and Healthy 2024 with no homwork😃
It feels liberating to hear start by saying you're over 2023 and won't be doing any more reflective work on it. Until now, I didn't realise I was somehow holding myself back as I wanted to journal more on 2023. With your words I'm feeling a relief. It's OK to allow myself to look forward. 🙂 thanks! 😊 (and now I can start watching the video)
I plan to use this deck in 2024 Hi I'm going through my decks I'd like to say I just came upon this indie deck I purchased last year : Aging Beautifully by Margaret Manning. It's Beautiful & very well made. Great images & Great description on the other side of the card. Telling you, VERY WELL DONE. I do recommend it.
I use the Magickal Botanical oracle by pulling a card, reading the guidebook and thinking about how it applies to me at the time, and then what I take from that card will be the focus of the tarot cards I pull for a more thorough reading. But yes, the guidebook is necessary until you get to really, really know it
This was lovely, kudos on your movement into more flow and less pressure. I’m retired, so even though I have a VERY long list of projects in all forms, and they are listed in an ever-shifting order of priority, I no longer set completion dates, per se. Not monthly, not yearly. Been there done that, so I do sympathize with all you “youngsters” still working professionally etc. 😅 With Tarot, my current new focus deck is Circle of Doors and my oracle to get to know is Glowwood. Beyond that, a new novel I’m writing is a big focus. Everything else is pretty much free-flow. Thanks for continuing to share parts of your journey. Blessed Be!
That sounds like a wonderful approach. I’m in a weird space where I guess technically I retired from my previous career and now I focus on everything I offer through my content, so I’m actually working more than I did when I had a “professional” job but I have the ability to do things in my own way and in my own time now. 🥰
I’m also thinking of working with the Magickal Botanical oracle and the Ophidia Rosa tarot in 2024. I’d love to see occasional updates on your work throughout the year. ❤
I can’t do the Alchemical Tarot…too many inner organs seem to be depicted in the cards. 🤢 I love the journals so much! I bought the one you shared earlier and am using it for our Fellowship practice. I sent you a message on IG about another alchemy deck that you may want to check out. It includes dice as part of the divination system as well! 💜
The decks you are working with look amazing. Wowza that Alchemy deck is huge and fabulous! Your journal looks beautiful already. I cannot wait to see what you share with us. Your practice for 2024 sounds exciting and fun. Thank you for sharing with us.
Also one of the things I’m enjoying with the Leila/Olive decks is I type the poem into chat gpt and ask the computer to recommend a book, audiobook, movie, song etc. that has similar themes and elements presented in the card. Have you tried this?
I'm always so bummed when I pick the perfect journal or notebook and realize the paper isn't right for what I'm planning to do with it! As for my tarot plans, mainly right now I'm focusing on studying the tarot. It's nice to do some dedicated study since when I first picked it up everything I did was very piecemeal.
Can you make a video based on some oracle that are less general? As in what cards are the most accurate, and unique instead of it being so general and I’ve run into a lot
such cute journals. Im diving into the Star Tarot with the Cosmic Cards and the Blue Messiah Cards for this beginning of our new Weaver Journey. I cannot begin to say how awesome my chosen Sanctuary is to me. It is a place I once knew on the North Shore of Oahu and Im so happy to be back home there
I have done a few for members and honestly, all our lives are kinda Q&A (and then we detour off into every tangent possible lol). I’ve not done a public live or anything. But if you have a specific question, I’m happy to try and answer! 🥰
What do you think of the Viola Lux tarot and the oracles by Leila and Olive? I have the whole collection too, and I’m enjoying the different way these decks challenge me to use tarot. Poetry, botanical knowledge, thinking outside the box… sometimes I use chat gpt to analyze poetry for me since I’m still learning 😅
I love them, I think I might have talked about them all in video I did on creators I collect or something like that. Each deck does feel different to me and I enjoy working with them very much. 🥰
I have to say I really don’t see/get The Nameless One. It will be interesting g to see what you get out of it. I understand sigils, I just don’t get why this deck exists.

I think sometimes we get too caught up in looking back that we forget to focus on what’s ahead of us! 🥰
Seriously fck 2023 and let’s go 2024! Bring it on.
Absolutely!! 🥰
I plan to use this deck in 2024

I can’t wait for your video of Alchemical Visions Tarot ❤😊
I can’t wait to see how it all works out this year. Such a good approach and healthy mindset to go with the flow.
I’m gonna try, but you know I struggle with not getting into all the things all the time hehe. 🥰

That’s a good idea, I think I might try working with it in a similar way. I’m real excited to read the guidebook. 🥰

I’m retired too and the “ever-shifting order of priority” is a luxury of retirement 🙂
@@karensorrentino9498 Yes indeed and I am grateful every day for this gift of circumstance. Blessed Be!

I can definitely keep everyone posted as the year goes along. 🥰
Beautiful video dawn Michelle and what gorgeous journals ❤
Thank you so much, I am so glad you enjoyed it. 🥰

I think it’s by far the biggest deck I own now! (sorry Diablo Tarot, you’ve been unseated!) 😆
I want that journal!!! ok a can you guess I'm responding to the first 10 seconds of this video LOL!
Also one of the things I’m enjoying with the Leila/Olive decks is I type the poem into chat gpt and ask the computer to recommend a book, audiobook, movie, song etc. that has similar themes and elements presented in the card. Have you tried this?
I have not but it sounds interesting! 🥰

I love a good tarot study! There’s so much to explore and honestly, I feel like I never stop learning. Which is so cool. 🥰

Dawn Michelle, have you ever done a Q & A would you ever consider doing one?

@@DawnMichelleTarot Ok, TY. What would you say the difference is between reading cards and a practice ?

ok now I'm 20 minutes and now I want ALLL:LLLLL the journals LOL! Creeping Moon here I come LOL!
Aren’t they beautiful? I’ve already ordered a few backups just in case I fill these hehe. 🥰
Dawn , Will you be forming a study group with your members for the alchemical tarot study?
Probably not a formal one with the Fellowship going on, but we do have a thread in the discord for it so I’ll probably share things there. 🥰
You’re the only person in the world who has gotten me to journal (with your book and the fellowship) 😂
Hehe that’s awesome! I’ll take that! 🥰
I have to say I really don’t see/get The Nameless One. It will be interesting g to see what you get out of it. I understand sigils, I just don’t get why this deck exists.
I don't see the allure either. If it was much much cheaper I'd give it a try.
I’m curious too. I have no idea what’s going to come of it. I do love the artwork but we’ll have to see how it actually works in my practice. 🥰
As beautiful as the Ophidia Rosa and related decks are, I couldn't get into them. It was crickets with every reading.
I’ve heard that from a lot of people! It took me owning it twice before I was able to find my way with it. 🥰
