Having an access to education and a support from family and friends is a privilege enough for me as a child. And I can't imagine how children at such a young age are forced to deal with such hostile situations and get to do things out of their will. That is why I chose the Child,Family and School Social Worker, also I don't want for the children who are facing such things to feel like they are being snatched away of their youth.
I want be part of the medical and health area of social worker. I want to help those people who cannot afford their bill in the hospital, to provide them the same treatment that they need. It is painful for me to see people who needs treatment but hospitals refuse to entertain them just because to their financial problem.

I've read some stories about those heroes who chose to retire because of too much trauma from the war they've encounter. Imagining the too much stress and pressure just to protect the whole country is surely a burdensome for them. Helping them to at least ease the pain made by their work would mean a lot to me.
I'm an aspiring psychiatrist but If I would be given a chance to be a social worker I would choose an area that is somehow related to Psychiatry or psychology and that is "Mental Health and Substance Abuse". My clients could be people who aren't mentally stable and people who are abused by any addictive substance. I want to help mentally ill clients to regain their ability to interact, think and be productive, because mental health is an essential part of our life and it is just as important as our physical health. I want to rehabilitate clients who are abused by any substance or is an addict and help him/her to go back to it's respective role and to function in the society.
I would consider being a mental health and substance abuse social worker. I feel like this is a very relevant work in our country nowadays. Expectantly, helping individual addicts, moderating support groups and working for a rehabilitation facility are very exhausting but gratifying. I would like to have that sense of growth and fulfillment for me and my clients; to see distressed clients getting back on track after the little strings that we have pulled. In choosing jobs, I prefer a coaching role that is why I think this would suit me best.

These people are once did something wrong in their lives. I can really understand what they are feeling. The feeling of repentance. The feeling of guilt. The anger. All of that. Because Im also a human. Althought some of them doesn’t want to change but as a social worker, my duty is to made them realize who they truly are. These people need someone to talk to. Then I am here to help them change.

If i wolus be a social worker i want ro focus on the function of SW in Correctional, prison because of my hope that those who are convicted of any crime has the capacity to change for better. And to instil hope and patience to those who are 'napagnintangan' lng.
Let us get into the reality, the only thing that we always needed for the country is child support. Because I always believe that it is not poverty that kills our seeds - our youth the most but it is the lack of child support. At a very young age, we should open their minds of what are their capabilities and their purposes, by making them dream and believe of what are those, making them think that they are meant for it, and by supporting them morally and emotionally and to push them to their limits. To educate them and open their minds of what are the needs of our country and they are meant to fix those, and by that we could mold them into a new and more functional seeds that could make the future better, but without removing their youth. Inclined with these, we could also separate them from antagonistic and chaotic deeds that may ruin everything from them. Therefore, I would like to choose Child, Family and School Social Worker.

Being an offender doesn’t mean that you don’t have worth because the mistakes you have done in the past can help you to become a better person in the future only if you’re willing to change. I would like to counsel prisoners to strengthen their emotional security and overcome anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems as they are very vulnerable to these kinds of illnesses. I really want to end the stigma for these people that their wrongdoing is not their identity and it doesn’t define them as a person. Assisting them to be strong by means of emotional support and learn from others’ stories through group discussions until they survive their sentence and become free will be a great help for them to initially change their mindset about themselves, regain their dignity, and try to accept that there are still hope despite their misdeeds and what they have committed to put their life back on track.
