0-60 in under 5 seconds is more than pretty good. If a sport luxury car is doing it in under 7 seconds, that is very good. With AWD, this car literally has neck snapping acceleration. I have the Q70 and a 2011 5.0 liter mustang, even though on the paper the mustang is a little faster, you wouldn't know it by the launches. The Mustang spins it's tires through the first 3 gears and has a smooth gradual acceration. the Q70 will keep you up at night if you have been pinning it off the lights, because your neck is sore if you didn't put it against the headrest first.
+AutoAcademics great review, man! I''ve been thinking about picking up one of these babies slightly used, and I think I'm convinced now. That 5.6 engine is the real deal.
This is a great review still today!! I have a 2014 q70 3.7. I wish I had the v8 but honestly, my 3.7 is no slouch. That baby gets up and quick and the engine purs. I love my q70. One day maybe ill be able to trade this one in on the v8. But for now I am very happy.

Highly incorrect: they don't sell a single vehicle over $100k. Absolutely a mid-tier luxury company, they make really nice vehicles, but they aren't remotely close to a high-tier vendor like Porsche, Maserati, Aston Martin, etc. There's "luxury", and then there's Luxury.
Great review Chris, who need BMW 7 when you can buy this, for 70.000 in EU-Europe you can buy only turbo-DIESEL A8, S class or 7 serie, start price for this cars is around 75.000 euros - 79.600 dollars, for L version 2000 euros more, you are blessed to live in USA in communistic EU they do not know about Infinity, peoples talk just about Benz, BMW and Audi in diesel version, like they are trucks. Regards from Serbia.
I think your review is in Upper Marlboro, MD. I lived there for 5yrs & this video reminded me of how great those roads were in the forest. Great review
Bro looks like juicy J.. nice whip I got the M37 which has discontinued n becomes This jump Off Let’s Get It was gonna get a new motorcycle. I’m living in Boston that’s a kool Kar my next one . Very detailed video brother keep em coming
20 MPG combined is pretty good for V8. My previous TT V6 wasn’t getting much more than that for highway. Have you had a chance to test a Q70L. V6? Wondering if the extra 100 lbs of weight makes that much of a difference in the V6. I got a bead on a 2015 Q70L. 3.7 AWD.
Note the center console. Fairy simple and storage space as what should be expected. Mostly plain and clean look. Except for the shifter, drive mode selector and heated seat controllers. Also note the three controllers are rotary dial type controllers not buttons which eliminates the risk of accidentally disabling/enabling a potentially critical system.....traction control, parking brake, engine start etc.......the rotary dial controllers require a thought out and deliberate hand movement. Some may not like the nav and climate controllers up on the upper center dash but for ergonomics sake I like it.
I just got a 2015 3.7 L model, AWD Loaded with every package except the sport or performance brake package. Of course I eventually found a compatibly equipped vehicle with the 5.6..AFTER I purchased....oh well l that had almost twice the mileage and the price wasn’t that much lower. Coming over from a 2012 M37 RWD so reasonably familiar with the ride, design, performance and platform. Great review, facts and not fluff!!
Great work! I just reviewed the Q50 Red Sport 400 and I'm wondering if they will get around to stuffing that twin-turbo V6 into this Q70 (at least the standard wheelbase).
What an enjoyable and pleasant video especially with that nice Infiniti Q70 5.6. And it is one of my favorite luxury sedans although it has been overlooked and underestimated by German lovers.
Word Life it really was not a really great point! If you cant afford the Q70 than you wont be able to afford the much larger QX80. I don't think it's so much the price that is the reason for the lack of sales. I live in So. California where every other car is a newer model F-150 with all the lifted bits and pieces, a BMW, Mercedes, Audi and your splashes of vettes and any other expensive car you care to name. Now whether these people can really afford these I don't care to know but if they can afford those cars they can definitely afford the Q70. The reason for the lack of sales or the reason you don't see one at every stop light is brand recognition or lack there of! Nissan's fault!! when you talk Infiniti, everyone pictures the G37 and G37 coupe..... that's the car Infiniti pushed! Not to mention it had the multi award wining V6 motor and near perfect weight distribution. Guess what?! The M35 and M37 had that multi award wining V6 motor as well. Why would you put that wonderful motor in another car and not hype that other car as well??!! Nissan care to chime in here?... I had the 06 M35 and while I didn't push it a whole lot, when I did get on it, it was scary how fast it was(280hp).
While we haven't reviewed the Equus, we can only assume it has more tech features, but the Q70L might be a better handling car. All of that is off the top of our heads, though, with very little to support it, Chris Bananti. Sorry we can't help more, but thanks for watching!
Know where i can find 1 of these in the awd trim?? Sad that the q70 5.6S doesn't have the active rear steer like the m's. That q70L bespoke edition is poppin tho!!!
Agreed. I have a 2017 Ls460 with the V8 and the power is awesome and more than enough even though its a big heavy car. 2017 was the last year with the a V8 for the LS .
as i have said before i was absolutely impressed with the Q70 had the pleasure of taking one of these a Q70's on a 400 mile road trip, aside from the QX80 its the best vehicle Infiniti makes, i was expecting a rebaged nissan when i drove it and i was pleasantly proven wrong. Infiniti is far better than anything in Lincolns line up or buicks, but its not quite there with cadillac or Lexus.
+justin bouche As we've said before, we like Infiniti, too! Overall a pretty decent bang for your buck. This Q70L does get a little pricey, though, but we still liked it.
***** i was saying i agree with your review, its a good luxury car but there are better alternatives (such as cadillac or Lexus or BMW) keep up the great reviews man! thanks for the reply.

Infiniti's have always excelled in power and reliability but I'm getting tired of waiting for it to push competitive features into this model. The interior is about 12 years old with some refinements. Come on Infiniti. If they had placed the Q50's turbo engine variants in this, I might be singing a different tune despite the lack of interior updates.
+zondaxify Your guess is as good as ours, zondaxify. But we appreciate YOUR support. Thanks for watching and feel free to share a video or two of ours that you like. :) Thanks for watching!
how did that stereo sound. I have the g37 with the 10 speaker bose studio on wheels, it's great until the upper 10 percent it can get slightly distorted and I feel it could use more low end bass.
+richard bean We always feel as though Infiniti's stereos can use a bit more treble. We typically max treble out and have bass 2 or 3 notches past neutral. But that's just us. Besides that, we feel as though the stereo sounded nice and we typically don't like the simulated surround in car stereos. What made this one better is that you can adjust the levels that come through the speakers in the seats, allowing us to fine tune it to our liking. Overall, it's a nice system.
+AutoAcademics ah! see that is exactly the response I was hoping for! interesting! on the g37, at least to my ear, I have treble all th way up (seems very full to me in that particular setup) bass all the way up and it still doesn't seem to have the low end drive my mom's corvette with the bose. but I have always wondered how the bigger system of the M cars
richard bean Yeah, it is truly a challenge for audio designers to create a high-end clean sounding system because of all the external variances that they have to deal with (wind, road, tires, A/C, vibrations, speaker locations, all the audible reflections from the glass). We've experienced some really nice OEM systems in vehicles, but it has to be quite a chore to get really good sound. If you ever get the chance, check out the THX audio system in the Black Label MKC. ua-cam.com/video/McyT_SUbkig/v-deo.html. Now that was a nice sounding car stereo and it's not an option that costs an arm and a leg, either. As a matter of fact, the one in the MKC sounded better than some of the systems that cost more than all of our combined arms and legs. LOL Talk with you next time!
+AutoAcademics your so correct, totally spot on! I thank you for your time! and the link as well as knowledgeable ooionions! I might just go test drive one Saturday specifically to hear that stereo haha! thank you for the link! keep up the awesome videos! yall really are among some of the best!

+OneOfOne We agree with you, OneOfOne, that Audi has definitely become a "go to" brand for premium/luxury vehicles as of late. Chris has even been considering one in his own stable. But we do not feel as though the Q70L was as bad as you imply. Yes, a lot of people remember the days of the glorious M45 racing through the streets, challenging any M5 (and impressively so, for a bit) it came across. But this car is honestly more refined than that car was. The tire noise that we experienced was not that bad and the materials used in the cabin were nice, too. The infotainment system is becoming a bit dated when compared to the latest stuff available, but so was Audi's MMI until they released the amazing virtual cockpit this year. Basically, it comes down to what details are important to each consumer. Thankfully, there is something for everyone! We appreciate your comments, OneOfOne. Thanks for watching!
OneOfOne I somewhat agree with you as far as Infiniti on getting their act together and giving us a supreme Q70. There is so much that they have not changed and or upgraded. I owned the M version of this car and when I sat inside I said and I quote "this is the exact same damn car as mine" I really like Audi and now looking at either an S6 or the Q70 hybrid. I don't think Infiniti is as bad as you stated and I think you failed to mention some of Audi's reliability issues. This coming from an A4 owner. My point being if Audi is where you are at so be it, but there is no perfect car whether it be road noise, personal aesthetics, form and function. To each his own.
damn this guy is professional as f. man the car has all the luxury features, but the huge downside is the looks, look like all the other cars out there that's under $30k. the infotainment system is pretty old school also.

+-O P T I M U S We honestly aren't sure, OPTIMUS. Both engines have the same dimensions, as well as a lot of the same technology (DIG, VVEL, 32 valves, etc.), but the version in the Q70L is tuned for more horsepower and torque. We'd have to check our sources to find out for sure. Thanks for watching!
+-O P T I M U S yes it does. nissan/infiniti isnt spending money to develop their tired engine lineup. now relying on mercedes for their 2.4 liter 4. the money doesnt seem to be there for them
OneOfOne it's the other way around. Nissan and mercedes are sharing technology but nissan is the one that builds the engine but is market as mercedes and you can guess why.
0-60 in under 5 seconds is more than pretty good. If a sport luxury car is doing it in under 7 seconds, that is very good. With AWD, this car literally has neck snapping acceleration. Sushi this car does not look like any cars under 30k this car stands out bro this one in the M37 and the m56 they all stand out they have a look of their own you look like a beefed up luxury muscle car in a way
Lmao wtf are you talking about?? The huge upside is the looks. Looks like nothing out there
Infiniti needs to wake up!
uh that engine needs to checked out Infinity dnt struggle to start up
So it has a Nissan titan v8.
OneOfOne I really wouldn't say it's engines are tired. These are award wining engines that received accolades galore.
This how you sell a car
Thank that the 3.7 l is more reliable
Stop yelling at me
