Hi Jack. This has to be up there with the best hands on experience that you continually share with us. Your dedication to what you need to do is outstanding and you and your entire family are absolute role models for the rest of us. Life on a outback station has never been brought into its real perspective until you started to share your life with us and others around the world. Well done Jack. You are a real man and a real champion.
Thanks, great viewing Jack, very beautiful spot we were lucky to see it here & have you talk about taking care of the land & in a turn about way ... how the birds, lizards like that too. ❤
What a beautiful spot Jack, I would imagine our indigenous folk would have known and used that water hole over many thousands of years. Well done for protecting it
Seeing an area that has recovered it's vegetation, it is very apparent that too many Cows, Horses, & Camels takes it's toll on the Vegetation. It's nice to see something I will never get to see. The Pond & spring are beautiful.
Wow! Thank you for sharing that Jack, it was a privilege to view, so few humans will ever get to experience that place-which is a good thing. Such a treat to see such a special and significant place, thank you 👍
Loving the content! Coming at ya from Washington State USA. The nature in this video is incredible and i can tell you influenced its resurgence quite a lot. Also excited for camel season!
the water is a little piece of heaven. Have watched it 3 times now. Was going to ask you for GPS #'s so I could look it up on Google earth, but realized not at good idea others will try and find it. Looking for your video on "roots", on an older video you said camera was "bricked" betting that is fkt. Love the new terms. Hi from BC Canada, wish I was younger and would pay anything you wanted to hang our for a few weeks.
Gorgeous area. Here in Central Alberta, Canada we are in middle of snow storm, -12 Celsius, 10 cm of snow,. Very different than where you are when it comes to raising cattle.
What an absolutely magical spot Windidda is. A true oasis in every sense. I wonder are you allowed to make that your home or home away from home because my instinct would be to want to live there. Springs are wondrous. Amazing.!!!!
Great video Jack. Thanks for showing us more of your incredible middle of Australia home. What are you by trade? Anything of just a self taught bushie. Where did you pick up the comms skills.
Hey Jack, yup those steel rope cables are great. I was in Conservation for a long time and we used the steel rope cables attached to railway line posts set at 60cm to 70cm to keep rhino inside the fences. Rhinos as you may know, cant jump, so they cant force their way through. The same goes for Jumbo, they cant jump either so steel rope cable works a treat. Camels i reckon are in the same class, cheers mate.
Very nice little spot to escape to for a few hours only problem is there is still wifi or phone i have a favourite spot similar in a way with the added bonous of NO phone signal at all no VHF radio spot on .
Seeing the country in a good season. Amazing there are turtles is such a isolated location away from other creek systems, they must of been there for a very long time. Proves feral animal control saves the environment, when a station is abandoned and taken over by Calm, turning off the water points results in all the animals/birds moving away and or dying, saving the what? TO rangers have big task maintaining the lands, making progress?. Respect your IT skills, VG. Where did you learn?.
"Just a pretty place",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, with wifi 🤣🤣🤣 Well done Jack for preserving and letting nature take it back, minus the ferals, Job done 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy 🍺🍺🍺
good video i like how you moving away from being a shooting channel to a landcare pep (not that i don't think the feral animals need control) just to grow the utube channel and the tech stuff is good are you using gel filed cat 5 cabling ? we had mixed results with it yes good but it don't bend as well and you need to use heatshrik on the terminations or it just sucks up the mostire
Nah no yabbies or marron in here. Only occasionally in the wet do you see some micro crustaceans, like the Australian shield shrimp, Triops australiensis.
Hi mate in your introduction for your show is that a echidna or a cactus at the bottom of the screen, asking for my daughter she thinks it's a cactus, cheers Dave
I understand you have some pretty nasty snakes as neighbours too. How do you cope with those and protect the kids? You've mentioned going for a swim. Got a pool on your property i guess?

That is like an oasis in the bush. What a great spot.
Thanks for the tour of the spring.

Hi Jack have u got the Springs fence off from the Cattle Sounds Like yr Having a Gd Season Rain Wise 😊
how about relocating your home to that area Jack? or a second home perhaps. Would be magic.
Obviously a self employed farmer with terms like ' keep being productive ' a term never heard in Canberra.
