I wasn't going to film this week due to how sick i've been (and tbh i'm still not fully recovered) but i felt like i just wanted to vlog (: I ended up finishing my zero draft and wanted to share how I'm planning to use it to build the framework for the next draft.

i see we both have the new titanosaur on our fyp... one year in uni i took a class on the biology of dinosaurs, and my final project was a childrens book i wrote and illustrated about gallimimus~! anyways congrats on your first draft, that is such a huge accomplishment! cant wait to see more
i don't play around when it comes to dinosaurs! i love them so much, i wanted to be a paleontologist when i was younger. also, that project sounds adorable 😭 and thank you!

for scrivener, I go into the project > Project settings > background images > upload the finished collage into the composition mode background (:

love this!! also hope yall are feeling better!!! would you say scrivener is easy to learn? i want to get it but im nervous i’m going to be too confused!!!
thank you! and honestly, i find scrivener to be extremely beginner friendly in the sense that, yes, there are a lot of bells and whistles, but you don't have to use those to get started. If you want to just draft, you can draft, and learn the rest as you go. It's also a onetime payment and you own it forever and it's secure, so you don't have to worry about companies like google using your work to build their AI databases (which personally freaks me out).
All in all, i am pro scrivener (: and if you have any questions, i'm always happy to answer them! 🤍

So glad I found your channel! I literally finished the first draft of my debut thriller novel yesterday and went and picked up the printed version today! It was sooo surreal! Thriller and horror novels are my favorite to read, so when you get to the point of needing a critique partner or beta reader, sign me up!!
