Although the soundtrack for the game Cyberpunk 2077 is excellent, in my opinion, synthwave is the type of music that best suits Night City and the story told in the game. CDPR made a mistake by not heavily introducing this musical genre into the game. Congratulations! Beautiful songs.

You know, I'd hear this music a lot at thrift stores and never knew what kind it was. I just thought it was random 80s instrumental music. Every time I'd leave the store, I would come out feeling like I had stepped out of a past decade. A lot of the stuff in the thrift store was vintage, used, and/or old to add to the 80s vibe. The nostalgia is real.

calling is the best track. It has the vibe of techno world which is half destroyed and half left intact....kind of keeping you at the edge of chaos and peace.
The last 5 months of my life have been the hardest ever but this music has inspired me to pull from the deep wellspring of strength in me and in everyone. This music is having a positive effect on me to believe again in my dreams and cast off old behaviors that held me back from going for everything I want out of life. I have a position I am going to leave soon for something better that can actually make good money and make me happy, and I have to have the confidence in my life I can overcome impossible odds and build healthy meaningful relationships again after ending a bunch of toxic ones.

Yes, I missed synthwave in Cyberpunk... I had my custom synthwave music in GTA and always listened to it.
