Craig Meyer, the actor playing 13 year old Doug Mitchell plays Elton John in "Remember When Rock Was Young, The Elton John Experience" hence the Elton John Guy in the title.
I uploaded this as the young man dancing is now an Elton John impersonator. I know it's confusing now, I just had the title set years ago when a co-worker had talked to him.
All of these actors are dead and gone now. Well, probably not the kids. Actually, not sure about the adults either. Fred Willard has passed. The other two, who knows.
Had to come and get my Fernwood Tonight fix in honor of Martin Mull. Thanks for the laughs! RIP Sir!
Same… 🕊️
Same 🥲 I enjoyed & laughed so much watching Fernwood 2 Night in the 70’s. Rip Martin Mull, a very funny talented Guy!🙏🏼🕊️🎤⭐️
No matter how much praise this show gets, it's not enough.
I used to stay up to watch these guys after Mary Mary or was Soap? they don't make tv like this anymore.
Im with you
I was going to mention Mary Hartman and Soap.
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman
I stayed up too. Watched Mary Hartman and Fernwood on my old black and white tv. 😊
It was Mary Hartman Mary Hartman.
"Mitchell Twins" (ages 12 and 13?) LOL
and now martin mull, and how relevant the sketch. martin and fred provided some of the most intelligent and hilarious humor over the years.
This was my favorite American TV show of all time. I loved it!
One of the best shows ever!
I have no clue who the "Elton John guy" is a reference to. No one is even wearing glasses or playing the piano.
The boy in the act is now an Elton John impsonator, specifically this guy: www.almosteltonjohn.com/about
@@dekkoparsnip Trey obscure. (I thought you might be making fun of clickbait like Martin Mull might have.)
Nope. Just the usual click bait.
Cool to watch this the day that Martin Mull died. I used to be such a fan! Thanks Martin. RIP
Fred Willard, anticipating his brilliant work in Best of Show, Spinal Tap, and many other movies.
Loved Fernwood Tonight! Martin & Fred! I will remember them😢
I'm 12, I'm 13, I'm 40, haha
Elton John guy?
Yeah that title makes zero sense.
I once characterized my late father as a "Bart Gumble in a World filled with Jerry Hubbards"!
We remember Fred and Martin and always will
a 12 year old girl singing "in the mood" , yeah that's wholesome t.v. right there.
I once watched a neighborhood band practicing, and a 7-year old girl was singing, "Stop Dragging My Heart Around."
Don’t be a perv. Not everything is about big rigs.
Great show!!!
Tommy Tedesco on guitar.
Bingo!! Always read his Guitar Player column!
I forgot DeVol was on this show. Thanks for the music. Martin, RIP.
Great comedy
Had one of his records, that I played a lot. Leisure suit, lol. Those were different times. RIP MM.
@SantosSantos-bf5sz You do know about those leisure suits, don't you? They cause cancer.
Love Martin Mull but I fail to see what this has to do with Elton John.
Hubbard trying to applaud the kids for saluting the past but dumping all over them in effect!
Band leader is played by real band leader Frank DeVol.
I was the age these kids are when this show was on the air.
It was kind of funny but I thought Monty Python and SCTV was funnier
RIP Martin Mull.
Do a where are they now for all the guests, love to see them today
Priceless. Loved the 70's.
Brilliant
Jerry Hubbard was Fred Willard’s finest work in my opinion. Rest in peace, men.
No sign of the rocketman!
Clickbait!
So who was the Elton John guy?

I’m just another LA Cowboy, hanging out and hanging on…see you at the Troubadour.
That song is so great! Only discovered it few years ago. So many name checks in it! I’m sure Martin had so many crazy fun times back then! RIP…
Rest in peace Martin and Fred hope you are riffing in Heaven
They Say NEVER follow a Child or Animal Act 🎭

I’m 12, I’m 13, I’m 40. 😂
He his so handsome
Where TF is the Elton John guy the title suggested I'd see?
When I started seeing Fred Willard in movies, it was like I knew him already. It's because my parents watched this when I was an infant.
A brilliant concept, executed to perfection. The next season they changed it to America Tonight.
DVD or blu ray release PLEASE.
I’m twelve
I’m thirteen
I’m forty
two of the funniest we lost Martin, and Fred
“As you see, I’m not much of a talker.” That got me .

I uploaded this as the young man dancing is now an Elton John impersonator. I know it's confusing now, I just had the title set years ago when a co-worker had talked to him.
Isn’t that young girl Justine Bateman?
No.

Martin Mull is very much alive and still working. His latest credit is for a show called, appropriately enough, "Not Dead yet".
@@Dreamline78Mull passed away two days ago.
