- In this video I introduce the Hauptwerk Hardware Motorized Stop Controller.
Basically it is a MIDI device that you can use to control real stops from Hauptwerk or similar.
It works with all motorized stops and is compatible with Hauptwerk, Grand Orgue and other virtual Organ Software using MIDI.

question: for the stops positive, you chose to connect directly to the stop. with multiple stops, would you choose to do this at the power supply, instead? (like was done for the ground?)

Thank you for your kind words. You can connect the stops positive wherever it is most convenient. It is often the case that the power supply is physically not close to the stop jambs and in this case you can connect this wire to any of the stops that are physically near the controller. If the controller is close to the power supply then that would be the best place.

If you have, say 35 stops, what would the power supply section of the controller look like with 35 power wires from each stop look like? Surely, they all wouldn't go to that one stops positive connection area....?
Whew. I can understand now, why people invest in bespoke systems…
