- When your child is really keen on car play, it can be hard to get their attention to do anything else! One mum asked me how to get her child to stop playing with cars and start paying attention to other activities. In this video I share some ideas for shifting the play in a way that keeps your child's attention and helps you mix up the play just a little bit.

My son loves cars! I most appreciated your ideas for imaginary play (the tea party, car wash, colorful tracks, play dough). I struggle to think out of the box like beyond the cars driving on a road 😆. This was great! Thank you.

Thank you very much! My son 1,8 is also into cars and trucks)) Before watching this video, I`ve suggested him to play with farm animals, was so much fun and learning as well, as we went over all the animals sounds! Will definitely try your ideas as well

Would things like animals and dinasours be the same? My son does engage with us and play with us but these seem to be his sort of go to toys at home and nursery x
