Why the main Captain Station isn't on the 2nd Decks as some are starting to do now i really like that trend big time actually as it frees up an absolutely massive amount of Salon space for creative interior design work as lets face modern boats even dating back this far have become too cookie cutter😊

Really? I note the opposite. The lower helm is the main helm and they are getting more elaborate as time goes by. To sell these vessels there are 2 people you have to impress. The owners man and wife. So you include the best galley possible showcasing the genuine concern you must put into it. And for the Captain...the Wheelhouse. You don't treat it as some secondary concern. The more (tastefully arranged) screens, switches, buttons and knobs you have the better with the caveat that they all at least do something...and of course you must include at least one and preferably two Stidd high end Helm Chairs (15-20K each). New these Yachts are close to three million dollars so like I say. You gotta make those two people very happy or Tony Fleming will. Also the upper helm isn't really the best place to be in adverse conditions. Lots of people who contemplate high latitude travel don't want an upper helm or flybridge of any sort. Ice can grow to incredible thickness on a flybridge. Other people don't like exposing a couple of hundred thousand dollars of electronics to those conditions The sea in incredibly corrosive.
Dream boat. Someday maybe….. Was a pleasure just seeing her.
Yes that’s a nice boat, I would take it in a heart beat. ⚓️❤️⚓️❤️

how fast???
Hi Bob, our Selenes are full displacement yachts. Our cruise speed is 7-8 knots and the top speed is around 10.5 knots.
"Fast" doesn't apply to a SE Trawler unless you're comparing it to a slug. Slow is just fine.
Bristol.
