- I decided to have a go at sampling a film in the style of POGO (the Australian musician). Zootopia hadn't been done yet and I thought it was a cool movie, so I gave it a try. I think it turned really well. Enjoy!

WOW. Seriously. This has such a great hook but you don't overuse it as you have 3 sections to break it up. I love how you also tried to tell the stories of these characters and put forward their personalities through the music/audio clips for each section.

The amount and range of the sampling in this is fuckin' insane. And it all sounds amazing too! Great work.
That first refrain is beautiful. The whole track is, too, really. "Smooth" is the word I would best use to describe this track. I adore it. My favorite sample, however, is J.K. Simmons getting agitated. Priceless. Keep up the good work, Smuffy!

God damn! This is so damn good it makes me feel really bad to compare it to Pogo, I praise Pogo like a fucking god, but dare I say it, I enjoyed this much more than Pogo's music, because this sounds like it's actually from the movie! You kept the same taste/style from the movie, mixed the scenes in order so it's like I'm watching a short summary on the movie itself! I love how from beginning to end, it's like in the order the movie played in, with the dramatic part in the middle etc, all mixed in seamlessly. I love your work! I think you can potentially knock Pogo off the movie sample/remixing throne. I Just hope you keep it up, I'm only judging off of two songs, but damn those two songs (and videos) are great! Fucking keep it up!!!!!! Looking forward for your next upload.

Personally, my favorite part is from 0:27 to 1:01. It's got hype behind it and it RULES. The song pretty much keeps that same energy for the rest of it, but that part made this song for me.

That part right there is whats keeping me hooked to this song. Definitely on par with Pogo's stuff, even better than some I'd say. You should definitely try more Pogo style remixes. I love hearing others interpretations.

Superb work! Both in the visuals and audibles. I would absolutely have guessed this was Pogo. One point of difference that was fun to see was the keyboard when a non-Zootopia sound was introduced. Really helped it feel part of the remix style.

I'd say this is on the level of pogo and jeesh. Extremely impressive. If I didn't see the title I would have thought I was listening to an actual pogo track.
I love how you incorporate little musical tunes that actually happen in the film and include them in your mix, like the Popsicle scene. Very well done.

This video kept coming up in my recommended because, like so many other people, I came from years of listening to pogo. I avoided it for so long maybe because I thought nothing could ever live up to Nick's unique sound. I gave in and watched just to curb my curiosity and cause, ya know, boredom, and wow I can't believe I didn't sooner; this is god damn fantastic. Smuffy doesn't just compare to pogo, his style embodies everything and more that the heavy-sampling genre does so well without compromising its unique identity. Great job, I can't wait to see more.
