one of my all time favorite bands...it's a crime that they never became as huge as they should have been. sometimes i feel like the only person on earth still listening to their cds on a regular basis!
I can beleive it bc they seemed so talented. Its sad how artists like them did not get as much credit but artists today do😂 this was befofe my time and I can tell the music was better then.
I always loved this song since it came out. I don't know about anybody else but when I heard Oasis for the first time in '94 I immediately thought of this song.
Such an under-rated band, this is the Oasis sound well before Oasis -- still really great live as well, more power to John and the boys -- real rock and roll!
I was a DJ in nebraska back in the 90's when came out and this song and others off of their album vinyl were in heavy rotation and the top in requests for listeners. this is one of the most under rated bands ever! and to this day everyone I play the cd for loves the music...from one of your super fans that listen to your music constantly please please please do a nationwide tour so we can see you live
Musical maelstrom in the early 90's. Very nice way of putting it. I agree, so much good stuff came out in the early 90's. It's still lost in the maelstrom!
@rickzters this is a great song really,it's a shame they didnt get the recognition they deserved, and this song brings me back to the time it came out, good memories!
Even professionally done mtv videos couldn’t break this multi talented band. The system is broken when left to inept record programmers who don’t know a great band if it bit them in the ass. This band is so fuckin good it hurts to even think of all the worthless piece of shit bands that got signed and proliferated for no good reason.
I remember buying the Rhino Greatest Hits for Anything,Anything and then loving all of those songs on that cd. I remember this song was a pack of cds that came wih the SEGA CD for genesis. It had like 3 games and 2 music cds. They Might Be Giants were also on that cd!!! Ahhhhhhhh old school.... great stuff! I would love to see them live.
What a great band! And a great tune! I never knew anything about these guys until I found out Chris Carter from BWTB was a member! I gotta pick up a couple albums! Can anybody recommend which one to get first?
The number of parties either I hosted or produced (on site) for guests at establishments that looked exactly like this in the early 90s I've lost count from a long time ago (could have been the libations). One spot that is a dead-ringer for it is the 'Venice Cafe' (still open) in St. Louis (highly recommended). (minus the chimp (that's a little dangerous concept for an understatement) - although one location had a petting zoo from a dairy farmer for those in line waiting to get in, comprised of baby goats who loved the insane amount of attention and milk bottles)
I saw Jacob's Ladder in the theater when it came out. I was 16 and frying pretty hard. THAT was a bad acid trip. Should have sued the studio that produced the movie.
my band got to play a show with Dramarama once. They are still big favorites

I'm here too!
Colors of Rock on Sega CD brought me here!!
Brings me back to L. A. In the 80s. Love this song and so many other songs that were only played on KROQ before satellite radio. So ahead of its time.
Saw this on MTV classic a year ago this has been my go to goodvibes song ever since
One of my favorite songs. Very nostalgic, sometimes bring tears to my eyes.
Agreed
Cool
I can beleive it bc they seemed so talented. Its sad how artists like them did not get as much credit but artists today do😂 this was befofe my time and I can tell the music was better then.
Just saw Dramarama last weekend -- still incredible!! Blew the place apart! Nice to see Clem Burke in here. I had forgotten about those days!
2017 and if I hear this song for the first time on the radio today, I would think it was brand new.. this band has always been ahead of their time ✨✨✨
True
As 2019 comes to a close, it's sad to see that this song hasn't reached 75,000 views.
It’s got 88k now 😎
@@Sebadoh1994 93k rn!
This song still pops in my head sometimes.
I always loved this song since it came out. I don't know about anybody else but when I heard Oasis for the first time in '94 I immediately thought of this song.
It's insane to me that Dramarama wasn't so much bigger than they were. They're fucking amazing
Clem Burke on drums. Clem Burke!
Such an under-rated band, this is the Oasis sound well before Oasis -- still really great live as well, more power to John and the boys -- real rock and roll!
They rocked a lot harder than Oasis.
1991... Espectacular video!! 90's..
Incomparable

I loved this album!!!
I've never seen them live, another band that should have been huge. This song reminds me of every club I used to frequent in the 90's.
God, this used to be my theme song. I didn't have a clue. ;)
Musical maelstrom in the early 90's. Very nice way of putting it. I agree, so much good stuff came out in the early 90's. It's still lost in the maelstrom!
La escuché en el 92. Uno de los años más inolvidables de mi vida por todo lo que me rodeaba. Edwin Màlaga.
Yeah great song thanks for posting I love this band!

Speechless
When with a friend to their friends house and walked in the garage and everyone was chillin and jammin this song and I knew I found my people.
You rock! Been looking for this for soooooo long.
Cheers!
God i wish they were back id pay big to see them any day!!!
luve it
This is such a good song! I would haved like to be part of this video. Such a groovy vibe!
Only an 80s band like dramarama can still be as good in the 1990s
@rickzters I agree completely! The song was lost in the musical maelstrom that was the early 1990's. I wonder if the song would be accepted today?
Saw them live at Mabel’s UofIllinois. Great show. Have several CDs.
This really takes me back!
CLEM!!!! Man these cats were good
I Love this Fuckin band!!!!
clem burke is bad ass !

John Easdale is one of the best vocalists of all time!
Long live Dramarama!!!
Perfectly written and performed- I accidentally landed on anything, anything what a band!
Asbury park tomorrow will be nothing short of amazing
What a great band! And a great tune! I never knew anything about these guys until I found out Chris Carter from BWTB was a member! I gotta pick up a couple albums! Can anybody recommend which one to get first?
All of them in order.
I wonder where all those people in the video are today. I think I recognize one of them. She is my hospital social worker!
This is playing on MTV Classic right now!
This video IS the early 90’s

You can tell the bass player practiced his video faces in the mirror all day before this.
Did I really just hear "Do kittens die on Christmas?"
Does anyone have an mp3 of their version of "last of the famous international playboys?" I used to have the 7" but it was lost in a fire.

Hola
Reminds me of High school making out with my girlfriend in the Hollywood hills looking down on the city
If anyone can tell me what tuning this song (and other Dramarama songs) is in, I promise to name at least one of my children after you.
