With sidereal astrology, these astrologers tend to use whole sign house systems so should you be a Gemini rising, based on whole sign, your Sun will actually rule the 3rd house of Leo and be situated in the 10th house of Pisces.

Mars is always malific! But sometimes can allow more benefic factors..say Taurus, Mars is not happy in Libra, but will still fight through justice system.
