      Castor oil; I recently started using organic castor oil on my eyelashes and eyebrows for hair growth and health benefits. However, a friend told me it's toxic and to stop using it because he claims it's oil from the castor bean which is the same oil he uses in his vehicles!

    Your vids are the best. Really super duper informative . I want to share that there was ONE class action lawsuit against one particular brand of coconut oil sold at Costco .. for having an additive that is unhealthy or toxic and not listed on the label. Sadly some corporations no longer honestly label their products and the laws have actually changed to even allow that. Which is another thing to research. Hi, Marjana Didi. I’m so glad the video was helpful.
      From clinical research, we discovered that specific vitamins help facilitate nerve repair for peripheral neuropathy. For more information, you can check out these two videos:
      Vital Nutrients for Nerve Repair
      ua-cam.com/video/wPruq49-ksU/v-deo.html
      The Right Dose
      ua-cam.com/video/dKMPMPJM4JY/v-deo.html
      I know from experience that it is difficult to find the right types of vitamins at the therapeutic level in most stores. When I was searching for my mom to help her with her peripheral neuropathy, I had to buy 7 different bottles of nutrients which cost close to $300 for a 1-month supply.
      Now, I know that is a lot and taking that many vitamins is very hard to do. So, we created a formula that supplies all the vital ingredients at the therapeutic dose in 2 bottles: Nuphoria cm Gold and Nerve Defense. You can purchase them at nuphoria.com, or call our customer support line at (844)400-0101.

    I don't worry about oil reaching the smoke point as I eat oil in the form of nuts such as walnuts, seeds such as squash-pumpkin seeds, sesame, edamame, and peanuts. I also eat avocados, including using it as a spread of flatbreads or tortillas, rather than using butter or margarine. I also sometimes add small amounts of oil to cooked foods. In all cases of cooking, the nuts, seeds, or oil, they are heated either in water, or in the water used to steam vegetables. So surrounded by water, they should never reach a temperature that is much higher that the boiling point of water. I have peripheral neuropathy anyway.

    U didn't mention grapeseed oil, which I have been using for over 20 years. The best organic, cold pressed is produced in Chico, Ca. I'm glad u did mention the problem with oil and insulin resistance. I saw a new endocrinologist yesterday and he told me "no more oils", of course he also said no more meat, eggs, or butter. Ugh.

I've been to a podiatrist and had tests on my veins. All to no avail. The only solution so far is a script for gabapentin. I see i need to edicate myself as i embark on this unwanted journey. Im 66 years old and am not enjoying my life as i suffer daily. For myself i know that this was self inflicted. Im sober from alcohol 1 and a half years now. • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Рік тому +2

      Great question! This can be very difficult and can also be very subjective. You're best bet is to go by the harvest date on the bottle. If the bottle doesn't have a harvest date, put it back on the shelf and look for another brand.

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Рік тому

      You raise a good point, however since smell is very subjective many times, it’s very difficult, in my humble opinion, to describe what rancidity smell like. I can’t think of any thing to compare it to. I would not keep any oil longer than 3-4 months on the shelf. Refrigerating the oil will buy you about an additional month of freshness.

      @NerveDoctors  Рік тому +1

      Hi Elisha Shalom,
      Coconut oil is great, as it has many properties that can help peripheral nerves, however, as many know too much of anything can be a bad thing! Having too much can cause LPS waste products. To offset this if you love coconut oil, we recommend taking vitamin D and glutamine in order to help mitigate the excess LPS waste. Also, don't forget to make sure it is virgin! If you'd like to switch EVOO is a great choice.
      I hope this helps!

      You need to have somebody else taste your oil.
      Someone who is familiar with the real olive oil, like native Italians or other native Europeans.
      Most Americans have no idea how the real stuff is supposed to smell and taste.
      Good quality olive oil is scratchy in your throat and it tastes bitter.
      We hated it as kids.
      We hated black olives as well.
      We liked sunflower seed oil only because it tastes like nothing at all.
      Our family got a big can of the real olio vergine from an olive farmer. They were so proud to have this connection. The real stuff, they said and they made us try very often.
      Finally we kids got used to olive oil and the taste of black olives.
      Now I love it very much.
      Just eat it with bread or put it on pizza.
      Eat olive oil and fresh garlic with spaghetti.
      Delicious.
      There is such a big difference in olive oils, some are mild, some are strong.
      Depends on the olives. Different kinds.
      It is like good quality wine, you need to know about it.
