I was part in a school play and I was playing puk in midsommer nights dream and I had to do this whole thing where I had to rile on the audience members going all like RIIGHT GUUUYS and I was pretty aware of the fact that it might now work out and I was mentally prepared for it. so, the day of the main performance came, I did the line (I actually was so on fire that day ) AND THE WHOLE CROWD CHEERED ME ON YOOOOOOOOOO I was so pumped that worked. We performed twice and in both instances the audience members just went offfff AAAAAH I PRAY THAT I CAN BE ON STAGE SOMETIME AGAIN

9.5 pounds story made me remember how my friends named their band! They went to the studio to record some songs without having a name at a time. I know everyone else already complimented Garnt's storytelling abilities, but I gotta say that was next level. I was INVESTED. The whole story was playing out in my mind through the climax of the crowd singing "AND I". It was like an actual anime or something. Garnt's band didn't think they'd make the BOTB concert but in a twist of fate were invited; they didn't think they'd play Britney Spears because of the audience's preference, but did to positive reception; they didn't think they'd do the "and I" gimmick but did; they got third place. That's a good story! Someone's gotta make a manga of this.

As a acoustic guitar player in grade 5, when Garnt mentioned oasis wonderwall it brought back memories of when I was in grade 2 and the intense pain in my fingers every time I strum that god damn bar chord.
My first day of guitar lessons, my guitar teacher taught me Plug in Baby. I had never heard of the song, but I was almost there in terms of skill through teaching myself. Amazing song.

This is only a speculation, and i'm not even experienced in guitar brands and everything But from the pic that shows garnt performing, he has a stratocaster model electric guitar, but for the brand of it, it's completely blocked by the mic stand. If it's a "cheap ass guitar" Fender would be out of the question. Since even if it's a used guitar, a fender will always have a high price. A squier might be plausible, since if it's made in that year and used it could be sold around £200 more or less. But, to be honest, there's a lot of brand that makes strats, and the cheapest one that i think he had (from a personal experience) maybe a legacy strat. It might be or might be not, since i got my strat for around 100$ if i convert it to dollar. But idk, this is pure speculation, it might be yamaha pacifica or like a no name brand. Otherwise, if he can take good care of that guitar, that can sell pretty well. Edit: After a bit of more research, i think i can cross out "Legacy" because it is in fact a local guitar made in Indonesia. (That's somehow so good) and i have a feeling that it's more likely a squier or a tokai. A fender even at the time, were more affordable, is still a high end, creme de la creme of guitars. And a squier is pretty much "a budget version of fender" that is way way more affordable. But another guitar brand that i've just remembered exist is Tokai. Which is (unironically) a Japanese Brand guitar. It's very affordable, and it's a very good guitar for beginners that are scared of spending too much on a guitar. But, i think i'm sticking with squier, because it is easier to find and buy at a yard sale.

This is only a speculation, and i'm not even experienced in guitar brands and everything
But from the pic that shows garnt performing, he has a stratocaster model electric guitar, but for the brand of it, it's completely blocked by the mic stand. If it's a "cheap ass guitar" Fender would be out of the question. Since even if it's a used guitar, a fender will always have a high price. A squier might be plausible, since if it's made in that year and used it could be sold around £200 more or less. But, to be honest, there's a lot of brand that makes strats, and the cheapest one that i think he had (from a personal experience) maybe a legacy strat. It might be or might be not, since i got my strat for around 100$ if i convert it to dollar.
But idk, this is pure speculation, it might be yamaha pacifica or like a no name brand. Otherwise, if he can take good care of that guitar, that can sell pretty well.

After a bit of more research, i think i can cross out "Legacy" because it is in fact a local guitar made in Indonesia. (That's somehow so good) and i have a feeling that it's more likely a squier or a tokai. A fender even at the time, were more affordable, is still a high end, creme de la creme of guitars. And a squier is pretty much "a budget version of fender" that is way way more affordable. But another guitar brand that i've just remembered exist is Tokai. Which is (unironically) a Japanese Brand guitar. It's very affordable, and it's a very good guitar for beginners that are scared of spending too much on a guitar. But, i think i'm sticking with squier, because it is easier to find and buy at a yard sale.
He might have bought a new guitar after learning it maybe?

I'm so envious of Garnt. I wish I also tried harder to learn guitar more, but I only experienced electric guitar just by borrowing to a classmate, and never actually get good at it. Band wise, I'm not gonna say I was in a band since I also questioned if we're a real band, but I used to play when I was in high school just for fun.
