In the winter it is possible to trace the line to the north. It went all the way up to the top of the broad Mountain, then down the other side via The Gordon Plane. All coal hoisted up over the plane went south to market right by the old station.

I have have one of the original unused Pennsylvania Railroad spike from 1950
1:10 I can see my house from here and the way you say heckscherville different compared to the way everyone around here says it
Current Owner is Reading Anthracite Company of Pottsville. Successor to The Philadelphia & Reading Coal & Iron Company and the Reading Company.
Is it being converted to a museum?!
Sadly, no :( as of now I think it is just abandoned
