Man I just found your channel, and from what I see you guys are doing a great job. Thanks for sharing and keep up the awesome work.
I’m glad you found my channel. Appreciate your comment
I love our cows. We also have a beef channel!!
Very nice set up
Had to laugh. Always get a few "squirrely" ones that aren't with the program. We do holsteins and get a few of those now and then. I see you use a flag. I love them too or a paddle. Good video.
Thank you for sharing man
Your livestock really look good and healthy but it wouldn't hurt to clean that truck out once in a while.
I got an extra shovel if you got any free time. 😂👍🏻
what do the cattle weigh when you get them and how long does it take to get them ready for market? I always thought about doing this instead of cow calf herds. Lost more lease land this year and may just do the confinement operation
They weigh from 4 to 500 pounds when we buy them. It takes an average around 9 to 10 months to feed out. Hope this helps
I'm very interested in this building ,but my concern is do you have any problems with sick, stales, and problems that you may keeping cattle cooped up
I like your setup, what’s the Dimension of your barn
Appreciate it. It is 180 by 80. With a 20 by 65 manure storage in the center
I am looking into converting a building I have into a calf feeding building and was wondering how many sq ft per animal youall use? Like the video btw and I sub'd.
I seen that your western star is a automatic dose it pull a load of fat cattle good just wondering
Where do you sell your fats?
How much heads to you load on the whole trailor?
You guys selling to a packer or a sale barn to be able to get a buyer out there to help sort?
We sell to a buyer who owns a collection point. Where we bring them. Then they go on to a packer
@@stanleycattleco.9715 thanks for the reply. Very nice setup. We currently feed in a dirt lot and are thinking about building a barn. Videos like this help make decisions.
Thanks Luke. Comments like that make it worth making videos
@@stanleycattleco.9715 is buyer from/working in packing plant and the he visits the sale barn to buy fats am I right.
Where are you guys located at ?
What do you estimate the cost is to feed one out?
How much heads you load in bottom l mean first batch
9. It’s a little tight. But it’s only 30 min drive
So basically you guys sell to a buying station basically
Steers or Heifers?
Both
