Nice tool NX Realize Shape, I use spaceclaim (direct modeling), I have tested the NX 11, I don't know but the interface is not good (the visualization of the design), my question is : please can you tell me which is better NX Realize Shape or the freeform tool from autodesk inventor ? can we start with NX Realize Shape from an existing model (solid or surface as primitives)?
I don't think it's any worth in directly comparing tools vs tool. Both are probably equally good with it's strengths and weaknesses. The key strength with NX, however, is the opportunity and amount of tools available to further refine your design after you've done making your concept model.
@@Miror it seems like you can't go back into cage transform after you make some edits in regular modeling on your part.. so once you do any modeling feature such as fillet then the part is locked for realizing shape.. kinda sucks
@@daggiusYes you should be able to do that. Of course you can't bring your new addon into realize shape to work with using the cage, but you should be able to go back in the history tree and work on the cage before you added that fillet.
@@Miror I think you are right. had to go back into tree and right click Subdivision body and do Edit. I was trying transform cage command again and that didnt work
@@daggius that's it. You can regard it as sketching. It doesn't make sense to make a new sketch to change a previous sketch, you'd have to backtrack history and make changes in the original sketch :)
Было бы удобней когда примитив делаешь полупрозрачным , чтобы видеть скетч , но я не работаю в NX , но присматриваюсь ).
NICE JOB
How to insert the automobile sketch??? Using which command??
Please design a car and upload full video

What about dimensions 😅
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
Just a little constructive criticism here: cad modeling videos without narrated instruction are worthless.
Ray Fletcher, thanks for the feedback.
If you c videos in 360p or 480p you must c design videos in its highest quality then u will get it very easily. :)
