I’m not sure what your point is. The Muslim world has been deeply effected by colonialism and Western interventionism, destroying their economies and stability; leading to the current immigration trends. Muslim countries that have been untouched by these factors are actually doing quite well and count themselves amongst the most developed countries in the world.

@@dl3492 no there isn’t, and yes there are weak hadiths because of chain of narration. if you have genuine questions you need to talk to a scholar or someone educated. Most Ex Muslims leave for emotional reasons. Prophet SAW was a great role model, I suggest you also read the seerah on him and look at the proofs (predictions) in the Quran and Hadith that are now being shown today. Seek knowledge please
The explanation of the whole madkhali spectrum and seeking knowledge advice was very eye-opening. I found myself heavily influenced by the ones on the far right, thinking there's only one way to do everything and considering everyone who doesn't think or believe like you a deviant, but as I grew older and took a step back I realized there's more nuances in the deen that need to be understood and respected. Truly, appreciated this video, made my day! Thank you so much. BarakAllahu feeeeeekum!
Me too sis. The past 4 years have taught me so much alhumdulillah! I used to genuinely feel Islam was black and white but the more you study and open your heart and mind the more you realize how distorted some things are. I used to think anything tasawuf was deviant, I’ve now realized how important it is to a Muslims practice. I’ve recently started studying in a more traditional manner with a sheikh who has studied the authentic Hanbali Aqueedah. I’ve learned so much alhumdulillah May Allah guide us.
I would really like to see a visualization of his explanation with the spectrum drawn and the faces of all the Madakhila popping up on the spectrum in their respective placement. I’m still not sure I fully understand the complexity of the Madhkalis, so a more thorough explanation would be dope.

2:39:00 A point on women working: My wife tried to work for a short period of time. She was selling homemade food. And first orders came. She dealt with it was happy. The next week orders had tripled. She didn't knew how to handle the situation anymore and came to me crying that she can't take the stress and she just wants to be a housewife. I never pushed her to work. She was so eager to sell homemade food and it only lasted 2 weeks. It's just completely different how man and women operate.
Maybe she didn't want to continue it anymore after the stress that comes with it, or maybe what she actually needed was your support on how to handle it. If the orders tripled and she couldn't handle it on her own, it means it was time to get other people to help, to delegate her work, and slowly she could have grown a small business with other women from the community. And I truly believe that there's a kind of satisfaction you get when you achieve sth, although the journey is stressful. No matter what you do in life it's stressful. Even being a mother is stressful and you feel like you can't do it, it's too much, you feel like you're failing, but with the right support in the lowest moments you end up getting through them and when your child achieves sth or maybe just the fact that he/she grows up to be a decent human being, makes you proud and gives you satisfaction. So it's not like what women do isn't stressful, so they can't handle the stress. It's about having the right support at the right time. It's easier to give up when things get difficult. At such moments it's great to have a husband that believes in you, encourages you and also helps you learn how to manage the workload and handle the stress.
@@NI2216 man wrote a whole rant going off on dozens of assumptions 1. Ignores if the husband has a job or not 2. Ignores the men also are under this type of pressures 3. Assumes the husband didnt help 4. Assumes the wife wanted a proper business when it shows she wanted just a simple cataring once in a while type cataring 5. Ignores male and female differences Feminism is a cult, avoid it
@@jss8253 I didn't ignore anything. I offered a different perspective and I don't see anything wrong with this. It's true that men are under the same pressure, but the ability to withstand pressure is different from one person to another and also gets better with time. Since he's been working for a long time, while for her was the first experience then surely he can cope with it better. Maybe it's just like you said that she really didn't want to do it, but maybe it's like I said. You see how neither of us can be sure since we know only a piece of information which doesn't even come from the person herself? We can only talk about things from our perspective and that's what I did. I'm a person with a low self esteem and also tend to withdraw when things get overwhelming, and they do get overwhelming because I stress out a lot. However I've always regretted giving up half way and I would have loved to have had beside me sb to encourage me and to help me trust in myself and my abilities. Giving up half way is much worse than giving your best but not achieving sth. It really makes you feel as a loser. On the other hand achieving sth always comes with great satisfaction and pride for yourself. For her maybe it wasn't what she wanted, but since she gave it a go when she didn't have to, because it's not like she needed money, then possibly it's sth she likes doing.

@@dl3492 when people leave Islam they are replaced with better Muslims. Many come to the west because of money. After the colonization the west robbed all the wealth of the "Muslim" countries.
Both of you are correct. MH wants to focus on weak, helpless and oppressed Muslims such as Rohyngia, Indian Muslims, etc. But DH is also right, Madakhalies are very dangerous because they want to subdue the ummah and make them nonchalant to the reality of their rulers. The secularising project in the middle east aims to blow up Islam by targeting the center of the religion. Just imagine how much different the image and practice of Islam would be if the Saudis become secular like one of those western countries. If this happens, changing Islam will become easier because it will be used to discredit the uniqueness of Islam and convince young Muslims that the secular system is superior to Sharia. Moreover, Saudi has a lot of influence and resources to spread secular values once they adopt them openly. It is very important not to ignore what is happening in the Muslim world because it will affect Muslim communities in the West in the end. We should not stay silent when the rulers are trying to change Islam and imitate Westerners. Not in my life.
What a leap! Why would you equate Saudis being secular with western secularism rather than them being as most other Arab countries are! In fact let’s not forget Pakistan and Bangladesh and their secular democracies ! Why’d you guys always find it easier to attack Saudi Arabia than speak about the sad condition of most Muslims
@@yoseffahmed6215 agree with it or not, muslims look up to those who claim to be the custodians of the Haramain and thus have a responsibility to uphold Islam. That title doesn't belong or should not belong to those who intentionally want to become fasiq.
@Yoseff Ahmed It is a sad reality for many Muslim countries. However, the problem in Saudi Arabia is different. First, it is the heart of Islam and has the main sacred places for Muslims. Second, secularism was enforced upon the other countries either by the colonial powers or by a military coup, both scenarios do not apply to the Saudis. Third, the Saudis have deep pockets which will enable them to spread and influence other Muslim countries to adopt secularism. More importantly, throughout history, this region was protected by every Islamic empire to preserve the center of Islam. It is understood that invading this region and changing it means defeating Islam as a faith and system in its own home.

I got what Haqiqatjou is trying to say about stigmatising divorce. I am a woman and this kind of stigma does affect me, and I am sure for most of women as well.
Asalamu Alaikum, I am a divorce lawyer in Chicago and have been dealing with Muslim divorces for 10 years. There are solutions for the legal issues that were discussed towards the end of the conversation. Not every state has common law marriages, and even the laws that have putative spouse protections, we have ways to work around them. Also, prenup agreements are a good way to address the issues of wester property division and will be strong if you each have a lawyer, do full financial disclosures, and sign the agreement well before the marriage.
I appreciate the fact that Daniel brings up the extreme scenarios because that makes people think deeper and plan ahead. When we prepare for disaster then the small things are easily taken care of.
@@boldottoman Women are doing the same when they are getting an education in case the marriage goes south. If both gender prepare this way for the disaster, the circle will never end. Also the victim mentality.
@@chasna4546 Good comparison, except for the fact that women have the absolute advantage. In an Islamic setting, then the husband will provide for the woman if they have kids, at least until they're old enough to go to him. The ex-wife can go back to her father's house and get remarried, or if she has no one then it is the job of the state to provide for her. Meanwhile in the West, the courts side with females and strip males of their assets, give half or sometimes even more of the assets to the wife, and give the kids to wife. Then, if the ex-wife becomes bitter, she can decide to raise her kids as atheist, not let the dad see the kids, and do things like transgender surgeries. Why should men not prepare if the field is so against men? Women will lie and say that men are evil and the cause of problem, but 80% of divorces are initiated by women and western society is overwhelmingly female biased. If the government was Islamic, or even if the government was only a little bit more just, then these protections would be overkill. But modern marriage laws give control to the state and the woman - you should protect yourself.... and I haven't even started talking about poisonous dramas, friends, feminism, social media, social movements and other things that primarily affect women
@@xcurrentbreeze6626 The courts in the West give the custody of the children to the parent that can prove it has the material possibility to care for them best. When fathers request custody they have 50% chance to get it. If the mother had no work experience and no possibility to get a job that would provide enough to care for their children, then that percentage leans a lot more towards the father. So he can take the children and ask for alimony from the mother. And there were many such cases as well, where the woman has to pay a monthly alimony to her former husband for him getting the children. Plus not all women have relatives to care for them. Even for women who are not married or have ever been married. I am in such a situation as well. My mother died of cancer when I was still a teen, and my father became disabled and needs constant care. I don't have brothers, and other male relatives have done the reverse of helping. So now I will have to pursue this path out of obligation and go back to things I could have done in the past to secure my present. Real life is different from either feminist or Red pill propaganda. Nobody likes to help or make sacrifices, Muslim or non-Muslim, unfortunately. And you only learn this when you are left lonely and without a choice.
Alhumdulillah. This was a pleasure to watch. It may be long but I highly recommend everyone to take some time here and there to watch the entirety of the interview. Each topic is enjoyable and digestible. You’ll find parts that are deep and insightful, others that are light hearted and humorous. Plenty of moments that offer opportunities to be introspective. Jazakallah khayr to both the brothers and the teams they work with.
@DL If I’m not mistaken, the main reason any people migrate anywhere is usually related to work/economic opportunities. I can’t speak for the people you claim leave Islam (you’d have to ask them) but Alhumdulillah I live where I live quite peacefully.
@DL hmm…I wasn’t intending to engage in a back and forth until you started pulling out unsubstantiated claims and numbers. Then something dawned on me, perhaps this individual is deflecting the horror and bloodshed, the “blood stained hands” he somehow feels he bears from the actions of what Christianity and those who promote its values throughout history and recent years have carried out. I’m sure you don’t need me to list unfathomable scale and number of death and destruction that has been caused in the name of Christian love and peace. I for one can at least comfortably and unapologetically stand by the command and instruction of The Almighty, and His beloved Prophet Muhammed pbuh, in the context that it was delivered and carried out. And when Isa (Jesus) pbuh will return, he will affirm the very same. And those who, in the name of Islam, act outside of what is decreed by The Almighty and His Messenger, who warp the Word for their own gain/desire and carry out death and other evils, will have justice enacted upon them, if not in this world, no doubt in the next.

Lol this made me smile, May Allah increase you both in khair and give you the best of relationships. Ameen.
Beautiful... here... woman see working as a end goal. As if being a mother and wife isnt enough on their plate.... all for money
@@NI2216 man wrote a whole rant going off on dozens of assumptions

THIS IS WHAT GOOD CONTENT LOOKS LIKE !!!
Most of the disagreements we have among Muslims now originated from Saudi Arabia and their Madkhali ideology. They are already doing damage.
I wasn't expecting that sudden move form brother Saajid tho Allah have mercy on him

@@xcurrentbreeze6626
The courts in the West give the custody of the children to the parent that can prove it has the material possibility to care for them best.
Incredible that I listened through the whole 5 hours.

The elder brother is advising the younger brother for 5 hours straight. This is the power of Islam. Its a huge refutation of all the secular isms
Actually Mohammed Hijab is younger than brother Daniel.
Great interview! When two great minds come together like this one, it opens the doors of knowledge, learning and reflection. As MH suggested we are Muslim brothers, so my humble request to brother DH not to get bogged down in the Madkhali Issues too much, particularly with bro Sajid, rather use your genius in identifying other dark sides of the present Western world and educate Muslim Ummah, as usually you do . Jazakallah khayran.
Madkhali is also a very important issue dear brother!
BarakAllahu Feekum 🤍🖤
Two great mountains of the Ummah in the Western Hemisphere.
How lucky we are to have people like yourselves in our ummah.
I'm from gujarat. Brother hijab needs to try Gujarati thaali when he visits india. I'm certain he will definitely LoVe it.
MashaAllah. Great interview. May Allah bless you both.
I am liking this new version of MH. keep on introspecting Akhi, for the sake of our ummah LOL.
Awesome interview, how come this brother has so much wisdom at this young age?
@DL wow you so abtly described atheism . Now according to you every atheist is responsible french revolution genocide, Stalin's genocide ، the genocide in communist combodia.
Great job brother atheists see their falsehood as the ultimate truth and the all religions should be annihilated .
In case you are an andhbkhat one question?
How was Ram born?
@DL how was Shri Ram born?
@desert camel yes usually such people do taqiya they go from being tunni to athiest to agnostic so when you present them the evidence they reject the tunni teachings and say we are atheist then when you debunk atheism they say we are agnostic. Tunnis can lie and be deceitful. They give their money to Islamophobes to attack Islam but instead the Islamophobes fooled them and used their money to sleep with multiple tunni women 😂😂
4:58:28 there's a saying in Urdu which translates to "if you marry one woman she'll fight with you and if you marry 2 then they'll fight for you"
Great 😃
I love the unity between our brothers
Assalamualaikum, wow, 5+ hours of gems!
Some important books from Scholars of Indian Subcontinent:-
• Reconstruction of religious thought by Allama Iqbal
• Mawlana Maududi:-
1) Road to peace and salvation [ Famous Hadith Scholar Zia ur Rehman Azami read this booklet and accepted Islam]
1) Al Jihad Fil Islam [Authored at a time when the perception of Jihad was brutal oppressive concept. Must read book for brothers in West]
2) Khilafat O Mulukiyat
3) Nations Rise and Fall
4) Pardah :- complete book on Islamic social system and impact of various false ideologies on this order.
• Sayyid Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi:-
1) Islam an introduction
2) Islam and the World [Brother Hijab was most probably talking about this book. Excellent read]
Shah Waliullah Dehalvi was not a deobandi scholar. He is looked upon akin to Imam Ibn Taymiyah of subcontinent. Who basically had essence of Tawheed, rejected blind following.... His book of which Brother Hijab is referring to Hujjatullah Baligah is a masterpiece. A must read one.
wow this was beneficial for me on a personal level
jazakallah khair
Love how u guys made it clear that Saajid should not be put together with those other guys. May Allah bring the hearts of the Muslims together.
Mashallah what an amazing convo
I love you my brother ❤ May Allah swt keep you guided and give you strength
3:05:04 SubhanAllah brother Hijab discussed this in a very mature way amd admitted his past mistakes. May Allah bless both the brothers immensely and all of our brothers who are in dawah, ameen!
Watching this discussion again after a year and I really appreciate the discussion around Peterson, particularly the balance between Hijabs mercy and Daniel’s no-nonsense. I lean towards Daniel on this, but Hijab is right - we can’t close the door on anyone until they die.
5+ hours! Why is it so long? 🤧 I'm afraid I'll not study and spend 5+ hours watching this interview.
P.S: I'm already watching for 2+ hours now. 😶🌫️
Edit: I've completed the whole interview and it was worth it! This is the longest interview I've seen in my life till now.
Let's take a moment to appriciate the brothers' effort for putting this much effort for this long 5 hours. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala increase you both in knowledge and preserve you for the service of the deen and reward you with the best both here and hereafter. 🤲
As far as women being neurotic I'm not so sure I would go to that extreme. However, nagging and complaining are definitely more prominent with women and that is the result of not being content with your lot, which is the outcome of ungratefulness عدم الشكر
The only solution for Muslims is to study and memorize Quran while surrounding yourself with observant Muslim women and try to ignore the ignorant.
This will be more beneficial to your life than studying. Studying won't take you to jannah.
@ÖI I don't think Georgie is listening to you here. Go bark somewhere else.
