    ‼⚠Addition to the video description:⚠‼ The reason why these motors and motor prop combos are my favorites: They are not over- or underproped. Motors with too big propellers (overproped) are less efficient (in full send racing operation) and less responsive (due to lack of torque), which means poor handling in fast direction changes (e.g. in slalom). The same efficiency problem applies to motors with too small props (underproped). For someone who flies slowly (cruising or very slow racing), slightly overproped can be interesting (e.g. 1002 with 2inch propellers or maybe 702 with 40mm propellers). But for me as a full send racer, I definitely don't want overpropped. Better slightly underproped. Or ideally, of course, perfectly in the middle.

    Thanks for sharing, I haven't tried all those sizes.
    RCinpower are my favorite too, super reliable, efficient, and powerful. Even the 0802 22k kv is better than some other brands 25k.
    Never broke a shaft. People who don't know think they need 1.5mm shaft, that's becoming a big misconception in the community, and that is limiting people choices in 0802.
    I freestyle, 25k with biblade on light builds and surprisingly 22k with triblades for heavier hd builds gives perfect flight time and power (75mm).
    Only drawback: some props are a bit loose and get ejected in crash, I solved this issue by adding dental floss inside.

      @butterflyfpv  3 місяці тому +2

      That's exactly how it is! Thanks for your feedback! By the way, I also use dental floss on all props. I first drill them with 1mm or 1.5mm pcb drills. This way I can easily switch between props..

      Aaaah so my new rcinpower props do feel loose. I was wondering about that because on my old beta 1102 the props were much tighter

    Moin, vielen Dank für die Infos! Hatte letztens die gezeigten 0802 in einen Meteor75 Pro frame verbaut und war mir nicht ganz sicher ob die wirklich für 75mm gemacht sind, bin aber erleichtert das ich nichts grob Falsch gemacht habe :D
    Sie sind jetzt schließendlich doch in einem 65mm frame gelandet weil der Peak power verbrauch die Flight time sehr beeinträchtigt hat, aber das Flug gefühl war dafür ziemlich klasse. Vielleicht investier ich mal in Akkus mit mehr mah und probiers nochmal irgendwann

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  3 місяці тому

      Hey gern! Danke für das Feedback! Also du meinst schon den alten Meteor75pro frame? 40mm Props? 802 27k Motoren sind gut für 40mm Props, jedoch nicht für 45mm Props.. (für racing) Ja voll, in gute Lipos investieren ist immer sinnvoll! Meine favoriten für 75mm racing whoops sind: GNB 1S HV 380mah 90C A30 und GNB 1S HV 530mah 90C A30 (hat masse und gewicht eines 450er Lipos)

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  3 місяці тому +1

      Not measurable on my scale. But I know from experience that a lot of small things together create something bigger. But it's definitely not necessary to do that. But I do it because I don't want any unnecessary weight on the whoop..

      They are about the same.. I can recommend both. Maybe you can start with mobula8? Lighter (?) and better cam. Are you aware of the Betafpv Meteor75pro? A 1S whoop, which is also good for outdoor flying..

  • @chrisbee5481
    @chrisbee5481 3 місяці тому

    Rcinpower hat neue 0702 motoren, falls es dich reizt die zu testen.
    Hab noch meine Rcinpower 0802 25000kv mit dem HM diamond AIO.
    Funzt noch gut.
    Wie du sagstest sind die 27000kv motoren nur für 12A aio.
    Die HM 0802 motoren sind gut, so lange soe halten. Das war bei mir leider nie lange.
    Rcinpower und tmotor sind allgemein die besten.
    Wobei VCI einige motoren für betafpv mittlerweile macht. Die scheinen auch nicht schlecht zu sein.

    • @butterflyfpv

      Ja voll vielleicht kann ich die 702er von rcinpower mal noch testen. Oder auch die rcinpower 703 27000kV. Aktuell allerdings noch nicht erhältlich auf aliexpress oder in europa..

    Possible to share your throttle mid , expo and the scale ?

    • @nikotttin
      @nikotttin 3 місяці тому +2

      Test it yourself as this depends on the motor.
      1) put the throttle on the odd
      2) fly as flat and low to the ground.
      3) do some turns and so on but level and close to the ground
      4) note the throttle. Mine for a 0702 25000 was around 40%
      5) go on beta flight and put mid at 40 and put scale at the top.
      6) repeat the low flights and assess whether it suits you.
      7) play with expo and mid sensitivity if you feel it is too fidgety. I’m using 15% but still not totally convinced (I flew several years without any expo, so need to re-wire the brain).
      8) send it!

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  3 місяці тому +3

      I'll make a video about it at some point. A good starting point: I set throttle mid to 0 and throttle expo to around 40-60% on a high kv motor. I like my whoop to have a throttle position of about 40% when hovering. Not everyone likes it, but I like it. I don't like it when my throttle position is at 20% when hovering..

    • @nikotttin
      @nikotttin 3 місяці тому

      @@butterflyfpv that's a lot of expo!!!

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  3 місяці тому

      @@nikotttin Yes! Not for everyone I know.. But you can get used to it. And in the rc aerobatic model world with rc 3D aircrafts, everyone flies with 40-60% exposure. It's normal there...
