SAP CLI:
- to check service status: sapcontrol -nr DOO -function GetProcessList (D00 is default instance ID)
- to stop SAP: stopsap ALL
- to start SAP: startsap ALL

14:36 Start install SAP.
14:52 Change /etc/hostname to vhcalnplci
15:18 In the /etc/host, add your IP 127.0.0.1 vhcalnplci vhcalnplci.dummy.nodomain
15:47 chmod +x install.sh
17:20 ./install.sh (The first time, it fails)
19:23 Add license.
17:20 Reinstall ./install.sh
26:29 check SAP status.
30:56 SAP GUI connect to the server.
32:05 Register for a license.
34:10 Create a report with the SFPLI table.

Additional information:
- I have successfully installed it with 8GB, everything is working fine.
- If you want to install SAP on the latest version of Linux (with a kernel version greater than 5.4), please modify the install.sh file according to these instructions: blogs.sap.com/2021/06/07/adju...
- Sybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise), also known as Sybase DB or Sybase SQL Server, is a relational database management system (RDBMS) developed by Sybase Corporation. SAP acquired Sybase in 2010 and continues to develop and support Sybase ASE as part of their product portfolio.
- NPL is short-text for "Non-Production License"

Win 11 is not suported check PAM and install it on supported OS.

Hello, unfortunately my installation is stuck on phase:
extracting data archives...
extracting /sapinstfiles/server/TAR/x86_64/dbdata.tgz-*
sybase/NPL/sapdata_1/
sybase/NPL/sapdata_1/NPL_data_001.dat
In your video I can see that it quickly extracted this file. For me however it's stuck.
Do you have any suggestions to fix the issue? It would be really helpful.

Try to remove "-C /" in the install.sh (line 820 or so)

After you change the root password, you need to reboot your Ubuntu server.
