Hiya, for future reference here's a couple tips for Creatures of Sonaria. 1, I highly recommend you get a friend to play with you, that way you can both complete missions with little hassle, two pairs of eyes to watch for attackers and it's simply more enjoyable. 2, if you want more Shooms, I recommend you complete the missions, while yes they're 4 not 5 each, completing them and migrating through regions, it will stack up quickly. 3, you can check what Abillities do by clicking on the three blue bars below your map, or by clicking the green question mark when you hover over the abillity in creature selection. That should help when it comes to understanding creatures. 4, when you see a creature with a pink circle around it, like at 8:00, they can heal you. 5, if you dont want to attack, getting a creature that can heal is a good way to stay alive, ive noticed missions are easier and people are less likly to kill you if your a healer. 6, to grow faster, migration regions shown on your map (white/silver icon with arrows pointing up) improves the age rate, other ways are completing warden sacrifices (volcano is easiest to grind) which have a chance at giving you a grow boost. 7, Oasis 12:40 is a popular hangout spot. Though be careful, sometimes it's hostile, sometimes it's barren, if you can find a chill one, it's a lovly hangout spot. 8, if you age to elder, ive noticed weight, damage and health go up, but stamina is greatly reduced. That's my observation, depending what creature you are, it's a good idea to bevome elder. If your tanky or a hard hitter, elder is the way to go. If your Agile/flyer/glider adult is as far as I'd recommend. 9, last one, the longer you live (the more missions you complete, they help) the greater death points you get, meaning you get better rewards. I hope this helps, good luck next time you play, if you play!
